This is a bad news for me. I have travelled many times by Sahara and I did not face problem. And the biggest thing is, you get it cheaper. With Jet taking over Sahara Airline, the Middle class people loses another cheaper fly option. Its time for Jet to cut down its price by half.
Buying of Sahara by Jet will reduce competition. In whichever route there are many airlines the ticket prices are low. Otherwise they are very high. Sahara was a good airline. It is sad that they could not survive.
Jet is for the premium travellers, only co. employees who get paid by their cos. usually board their flights.Air Sahara's rates are much cheaper, but with this takeover hopefully with the Jet brandname the service is upto the Jet standards but not the pricing, lest Jet will lose more mkt. share
I guess Paramount airways is the best on Indian Skies. Quality of service is Super with ever smiling Air hostesses and Stewards. Right from the time you step into the airport you are treated with the concept of " Customers are the ultimate Kings". Right now their connectivity is only within the south. I guess they can improve on this. But their prices are extremely low for the services they offer. Next on the list is Kingfisher which is again excellent, with customer friendly service. Jet airways is a good airline although not the best!
Jet has become poor in terms of service and passenger handling. once they refused to give me ticket even though having confirm ticket and with in 40 min of schedule departue even though i had informed them abt late checkin. once their 10:20 PM night flight to bangalore took off at 2 AM and passenger were boarded on plane at 10:40.

One american told me that it is safe to travel by airways owned by middle-east countries than airways owned by US or european. Because terrorists are unlikely to hijack them.
Similarly I believe that if Jet airways is owned or backed by underworld it is more safe to travel because they are unlikely to cause trouble for themselves!!!!

No Amit... go through the article once again. It says 500 have been paid ... 400 would be paid by 20th April and 550 in interest free installments. May be a beginner's maths class might help your case!

Worst is AI & IA. Best ones who gave Civil Avioation to Indian Masses is Deccan,Jet. AI & IA are managed by GOI just like Indian-Cricket Team managed by Sharad Pawar. Politicians only talk big and do nothing for Indian people. Ofcourse Indian Masses also wants only talking insted of real output, example is China, but we only talk as if we are prepared for competition with China.
