i agree............jet will soon take nosedive....because he is buying Sahara with lot of baggage n bad repute ......from where wilkl he get staff n pilots......truck drivers will be elevated as piolets
arey yaa..this might happened due to promoting indian cricket team since years back....they have sponsered for our indian cricket ...but unforunately our team our from WC..finally it effects Air sahara..one of the best airways in India.... what do u say guys??

Does it make scence for SAHARA to sponser team INDIA by paying so much of price when the airllies is already in loss. Its like one sick company is purchasing another sick company.
Oye ! Ki farak paindha hai ? Will Jet now offer more discounted tickets and cheaper flier options, now that there is more synergy ? This merger will make sense only then
I quote a specific instance of poor grammar from the above article - "All shares of Air Sahara is to be transferred to Jet " Should it not have been .. are to be transferred? Okay English is a foreign language - but if you are writing in English please pay attention to your grammar.
How many planes did Jet Air buy from sahara? 1430 crores is too less yaar... may i know for what cost can i get an aeroplane? How many planes did Jet Air buy from sahara?

practicallt jet has purchased Sahara for 930 cr as it was almost certian for them to have lost 500 cr already paid earlier. So whatever Jet could derive more than 930 cr is a recovery agst 500 cr. I think in a longer persective when some other cheap airlines will ground either due to competition/losses then the fruits of such mergers will begin to show and Jet get the real benefit.

hehehheheh nice 1 ... u can buy 1 @ Rs.20/- at a local toy shop near u !!
Rs. 1430 crores is for the aquisition of all assets of Air Sahara that includes, 18 Air Sahara aircrafts, ground staff, infrastructure and services. However, Jet has not acquired Sahara's helicopter fleet which contains 8 helicopters.

haha... kshitij malhotra must be cryign after seeing your second question. It is really a waste of time answering silly questions over here, like what ia m doing now.
I HAVE TWO FFP CARDS BOTH COSMOS OF AIR SAHARA AND JP BLUE OF JET . NOW THEY BECOME ONE .OTHER WISE NO EFFECT FOR ME. THESE MARRAIGES(MERGERS) AND DIVORCES( DEMERGERS) ARE COMMON IN CORPORATE WORLD.
Sahare ko Jet ka Sahara....one don ties-up with other don....and Govt look on helplessly....our blind legal system...blind Godess of Law...we are sorry..this happens only in India...
