Move all colleges, universities, schools, big play grounds, gardens all out of city. you get more spaces in mumbai. create sub urban -like small small (satellite) cities around mumbai. create self -help group everystreet to clean streets, city, etc. give them concessions in train , corporation buses, move all orphanage , old age homes city outskirts, create new streets, new areas like wallstreets in mumbai to consider as finanical hub..
place mono rail, metro rail etc at the earliest. add extra coaches to local trains, build overbridge for path-walkers instead of signals.
many many..can take steps... the biggest question goes who will take??
- politicians? no -public ? no police? advocates? social servant? corporation people? government employee? cinema people?
who then.......i dont see anybody can the steps above said... there should be revolution...what revolutions? ------- only people can do...is private organizations ...only. having private sectors...only
How can you compare mumbai to Tokyo or Frankfurt. Mumbai is years behind ....
It needs an iron man - the leader like the ex prime minister of Singapore who moved it from the thirdworld to the first- discipline in the country....
We try to think like the first world but live like the third world..Discipline is missing and we will never make it!! Do we have the courage to really keep our city clean , manage noise pollution, remove squatters and provide them with alternative housing...
