Brain drain
by RJD on Sep 14, 2006 10:32 AM  Permalink

Thanks to morons like Arjun, we'll have the best people going abroad with their money, talent and intellect.

And of course, they're not going to come back to India so easily to work. Ask me! I'm abroad and very happy.

Thank God I don't need to pay taxes....which help chaps like this to have food on their plate daily.

foreign university in India
by illiterate on Sep 14, 2006 10:20 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Arjun Singh is an illiterate. Hence he does not want his voters to be literate. As for the Lefties, they would send their children to foreign countries by taking money from businessmen. So they donot want the universities to come to india.

Throw the door open to competition.
by Vikramjit Singh on Sep 14, 2006 10:12 AM  Permalink

Let foriegn universities come in and compete with Indian universities , many of which are sub-standard in any case inboth syllabi and quality of teachers.

Competition has never harmed any industry. Sure it causes upheavel and initial heartburn but it only benefits the country.

Aren't we all tired of the left parties holding the country to ransom because of misplaced nationalism and sarkari attitude towards everything ?

If the left had their way we would still have dirt roads and ambassadors all over India.

FDI in education
by Sanjay P. Nair on Sep 14, 2006 09:52 AM  Permalink

Why does the left have to oppose anything and everything? Left parties seem to be paranoid. As for Arjun Singh, he is only afraid of losing control over his fiefdom. FDI in education is very good and very much wanted. There arent enough educational institutions in India to take care of its needs.
