CAS was applied to stop the Cable operators monopoly, and to ensure the customers to pay only for the those channel which they want to see, then why the operatos are charging charging on the package basis. I found that in there packages out of 100 only 10 to 15 channels are which a customer want to see. But due to the package deal he is paying for all the channels. Please do something to stop this monopoly. We do not want pay on packages, would prefer to pay on only channel basis.
Is it true that when it rains the TV signals vanish in DTH system???? Some of my friends(owning DishTV & TATA Sky) have warned me when I expressed interest in DTH.
I am basically from Tamilnadu and staying in Mumbai.. In DTH they are offering only four tamil channels so thought of going for CAS. But want to know from where I get and I want to know will I be allowed to select whatever channel I want.
