I have one statement to make on Mr. Girish version of Montek's Vision- that "a grandson can't teach his grandfather how to make babies". Dr.Monetek's vision is nothing but reflection of Dr. Manmohan Singh's Mission, so let Mr.Girish mislead the readers.
The Communists will go to any legths to ensure that such a vision is never realized, especially the one about private investments, and especially FDI in infrastructure, especially from the capitalist West, and especially from their ideological arch-nemesis, Uncle Sam, with one exception - investments by their ideological masters in Beijing would be most welcome - the reds are even now threatening the docile UPA govt with dire consequences unless Chinese govt-owned Cos are allowed to take control of ports in Kerala and other states. With so many such roadblocks by the truculent obstructionist reds, Montek's vision seems doomed to remain only a distant dream.
