It is a undeniable and established fact that only the best minds in the Country are getting into IIT.It is also overwhelming that the alumnis want to "Inspire,Involve and Transform India".What I think/feel is that the extra-ordinary HYPE given to this IIT meet is unnecessary. Of course,they may have got good Problem solving mind and strategies.Pan IIT meet is solely to foster India's development.But its a pity to see even here some use it as a chance to boast about its glory and try to project themselves as the SOLE REDEEMERS of the country.If they keep on talking like this, then the history will record that only such a meeting took place and there was no action there after.I am not against IIT or anything,the thing I would like to make clear , do some activity , post them on net and then talk about how the conference was successful and what steps were taken.Unnecessary hype given before meeting could have been avoided.
IITins have world before them because the IITians are BEHIND the world. Wake up you IIT Rabbits the news is out that Tortoise won the race. They may not know what is written in this message since such stuff are not taught in coaching classes as such stuff are out of syllabus.......
The Illinois Institute of Technology USA has recently agreed to offer four-year scholarships to all low-income Chicago Public School students who meet the school's rigorous admission standards. In addition to having a household family income under $40,000, students must measure up to the standards achieved by IIT's freshman class: a 3.88 grade-point average on a four-point scale; a 1286 SAT, and 28 on the ACT. That is IIT USA. In India, let us not talk about it. In India it looks like only BITS Pilani is talking of merit while all others are talking politics and religion.
IITians not alone having the talents...Many guys from the other institutes are providing service to the industry...
Really All the IITians study in the well paid schools and gets more marks get seat in the IIT. But many rural students study in the Government schools and get less marks and dont get seat in IIT.
But the poor students get seat in management seat for high cost and low education but IITians at low cost and good education..
so IITians are not alone superior than the other guys.....
Only small percentages of IITians are there...But other guys........
Can you people talk about anything else than the romantic eulogies of the heroic pursuits of IITians. It is getting vulgar and too commercial. Surely, more than a billion people of the country get ill represented by a bunch of IITians produced every year especially when these people are the ones who care the least about the country.

When we praise and loud for IItians.. where do they deliver?.. where do we have a global brand with these brain drain?.. do we have a microsoft or dell or ibm kind of brand or do we have a boying or airbus? where do we have yahoo or google? or do we have any GM or Toyota?.. are we having any NOkia or Motorolla?.. Do we have any brand name like GE or atleast Samsung,LG?.. these are not done by IItians.. then what the use of IItians?.. where is there brain?.. let them build some big brand made in India then we call it as made by IItains?.. if they are working for some companies in any post that doesnt represent anything bigger for India?.. many other fellows are working in bigger post who are not studied in IIT..
Do something in engineering, medicine or airospace for leading globally then praise of IIT. they r like other college drop-outs without anything extra apart from they may get better jobs. Look at china., the way the build toys it may not be bigger names but they build a to z in toys and sell around the corner of Earth with made in china brand.
Guys sit together and think of building something by your own which can lead the world.. then we praise it is because of IIT.
