Its Time to make India great........via our efforts
by Ritu N Budakoti on May 07, 2006 04:28 AM  Permalink

its really great that the world's richest Indian is Lakshmi N Mittal at least we all Indians can connect to him in some way.it will be even greater if Mr.Mittal can help in restructuring India's Economic Infrastructure by investing in India, because we all know thatinspite of many shortfalls yet India has all the potential and power to succeed and as many economic forecasts by the market Gurus Indian economy is blossoming and with little more efforts it can reach to its zenith.
You have already made India proud but by investing and giving some new oppurtunity to indians can you make India and Indians much more prouder.

Message for India
by DSK Rao on May 07, 2006 03:46 AM  Permalink

It is nice to hear & know about the Riches and Life of wealthy people. Sometimes , it also tends to create jealousy among not-the-so-lucky ones! However , what is good about LNM is his 'Indianness'. I wish he uses some of his riches and ideas to improve the lot of Indians in India. I always wonder why these Rich People stop at themselves ! I can assure that it would bring him spiritual happiness. I am presently on a trip to USA and can be reached on 678.654.1970

Other side of the richest Indian
by strysh4 on May 07, 2006 03:11 AM  Permalink

This is a stupid JOKE. First of all Mittal is not an Indian. He is a British Citizen. Indians have this habit of calling all PIO as Indians. This is comparable to the Islamic brotherhood of all Muslims. What amount of Taxes Mittal pays to India out of his $27 billion? Stop fooling common folks.

I feel proud to be indian and felt great while going through the other part of Mr & MRs L N Mittal life. I think I would have never inganined the life of this couple would have been so cool, understanding, luving, caring each other, romantic, and what nots,,, and more over it is an luv mrg.. Wow!!!
MOrethan anthin I liked their dedicatedness towards the growth by the sacrifice of their personal life.
Hats off to them,,, And I think one and all who reads this small information will make them as Roll model in their lifetime period.
No more words to express the inner feelings expect the gladness and proudness to be Indian.

They come across as a very down to earth people, modest and humble at that, despite the wealth and position as the richest indian family. Not lost their values.Reminds me of what i had read about Mr.Azim Premji.I think humility, concern for the society are the trade marks of some truly amazing people.not forget Mr.Narayan murthy and nandan nilekani.
