Passionate driving
by Nishith Shah on Apr 18, 2008 03:35 PM  Permalink

You guys have tried to create a rivalry between American cars and Japanese technology... Look it from different lens...

If you have passion for driving and believe in the thurst, the roar.....go for FIESTA.. I bet you will be FIDA on it.. I have used it 30k kms and no major maintenance yet! Fuel efficiency is fantastic with an average of 20 kms in city..

Overall, both cars r fantastic... No company is going to deliver you a dump of shit for 7.5 lacs... Trust in technology and choose according to your requirements... There is no point in buying a Ferrari if you care for mileage!!!

Plz don't compare Japanese Cars with American Cars
by ahmed salman on Apr 17, 2007 11:24 AM  Permalink

you should'nt compare Japanese Cars with their American Counter-parts... Absolutely no comparision!!!!My brief stay in Middle East gave me good exposure to Japanese Cars(Toyotas, Hondas, Nissans etc). These cars are so user friendly, economical, believe me they save u a lot of money over a number of years. Compare this to the American Cars..GOD they are like leeches..empty ur pocket every now and then. Hah!! this is not for millionaires'..Middle class customers, go for the Hondas n Toyotas..well we dont have Nissans yet :(.. Hope this is good enough for prospective CAR Customers..

there is no comparison

this is a useful article to know about fiesta. and that should be it....decision is very easy...buy honda. the name itself is more than enough. the most important factor is reliability of car over next several years. any american car is good for a couple of years and then visit to autoshop increases.

i have honda for 10 years now (i know people will say we did not have city 10 years back and that is correct). here i am talking about civic the name of city in western part of the world. can you believe 10 years and no problems whatsoever...only regular maintenance visits. my friends who owned nissan(s), jetta from VW, sold theirs as they could not afford to spend more money to keep them running.

we indians treat our gaddees/moped/bike/cycle/scooter/car as our babies and keep them for years. ask people who still have those 25 years older chetak:). so when buying a car...honda(s) should be the first choice along with toyota(s).

A little sophistication in your question would have helped the man save his face at least.

You have been extremely irrational in removing all his clothes !

Very bad.

But appreciable.

Only a fool like me buy a ford product
by Harsh Agarwal on Jul 29, 2006 08:09 PM  Permalink

As an owner of a ford ikon I have advised tens of people to remain away from Ford products. All new cars drive, look & smell same. What about 3 years down the line? Ford has no spares for months to correct faults of your car. It may remain off the road for months and will make large holes in your pocket. After sale service is poorest of the poor. You shold buy a Ford if You get a maruti 800 free with it. At least you can use this on road when Ford is decorating your drawing room.
