The failure of both Agni-III & satalite launch had degraded the indian mission of becoming leading entity in astronomy.
Indian scientists had worked very hard in the past to take India so much ahead in the scientific technological delopment.
I think Indian Scientists should redevlop themselves by forgeting past failures & learinig from them & should energies themselves with something new discovery for which the world would only imagine off.
Hard luck boys, but please understand that whole India is looking at you for pround & respect.
Why do you blame the technical people, who have worked day and night to send the satellite. It is sheer politics & politicians , whho are responsible for these state of affairs. Every one wants to follow vote bank politics and that has left the talented to go else where leaving the pure technical fields dry with talent. In addition, with the growth of IT, many are leaving the prestigious organisations for greener and politics free work environments.
No doubt it is a great loss to the exchequer and certainly difficult to afford . But the point is that the surest method to avoid failure is "to not try". So shall we as a nation just sit idle and save ourselves from failures? People who are questioning the credibility of our esteemed scientists should rather wake up. Please remember Rome was not made in a day. It does not take a penny to criticise in a democracy, but those who have nothing better to do than to just criticise should remind themselves that it is only because our foefathers tried , failed , re-tried untill they succeeded that we are enjoying the fruits of developement.
Its really unfortunate to see people critisizing. Success and Faiulres are part of life and any project as well. Don't ignore the efforts of 100's of team members who must have put alot of extra time to achieve results.
If you could have worked on project as a team then i am sure you would be knowing that nobody wants failure and everybody put their best to make project successful. As a software professional i have seen practically that its very easy to comment on anybody failure but you would know the actual only when you would have contirbuted to that project as a part of team.
I appreciate the work of guys who were involved in project. Keep ur spirit high and go back to work on ur project with 'lesson learned from previous project'
We have more than Hundred Crore of population in the nation. But we do not have much more scientist in space research area. Only just a minute we have lost 256 Crores. It is heavy burden in our poor nation.
No doubt that the failure of Geo-synchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle GSLV-F02 is due to technical problems. We have a great history in this field, but unfortunately, some times this type of mistakes will takes place. We were all knew that, 2 years back one American satilite was burnt in return journey, in that accident we lost our Kalpana Chavla. That accident was due to techical / design problems. How it was happened to such a highly developed country ? some times this type of mistakes will takes place. But it is true, we have lost huge amount. It is a big amount for us to recover.
At the same time, I would like to say to all the Indian citizens to give moral strength and encouragement to our ISRO team. No doubt, they can achieve our dreams if we stand behind them with encouragement.
