The airports and other government white elephants must be privatized fast. No time to lose, as Delhi & Mumbai need to come somewhere close to international standards.
AAI employees have enjoyed a monopolistic situation which gave them a free hand to make a mess out of a country's premier utility. Unprofessional, corrupt, unsympathetic, laggard, the list is endless to sum up a typical AAI employee. Having worked in Mumbai's airport and Cochin airport as a service provider, I know what I write...look at Cochin's airport and you know its only a preview as to what Mumbai and Delhi will hopefully operate once its privatised. Privatise all airports- to hell with the AAI.
