NRI's (most of them) are investing money in India because the returns are higher here and not out of any concern to their homeland. They (most of them) are out to make a quick buck and nothing wrong about that but dont make it anything other than that. After all NRI's withdrew money when the country was in financial crises in the early ninetees.
After reading the article it seems and can be visioned that the author is confused at his situation as an NRI.INDIA'S success is not by the money you send back to home but more because of the thought process what has changed.In a world of growing needs and awareness, this was bound to happen to our country.We were always a nation with all the capabilities.You send money back home so that you can give it to your well wishers or family.I can firmly say that you have not done any charity or feel that you are doing a favor on INDIA.You should also feel ashamed that you are just giving back to your country as it has given to you from all the time.Pelease find ways to participate in BHARAT'S progress.Your are most welcome and INDIA will embrace you.
