Dear readers, I am a subscriber to the Worldspace Radio network. The quality of service provided by it is simply topclass. There is no commercial advertisements in between which sours, the pleasure of listening. Apart from the cost of the equipment which ranges from approximately Rs.2000 to Rs.6000 depending upon the "set" that you are buying, the yearly subscription for the music (comprising 40 channels of 2-Hindi, one each of Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Punjabi, Carnatic, Hindustani, Western classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Metal etc.) is only Rs.1800/- which works out to Rs.150/- per month. If one would take into account the seemless music that would flow out of Worldspace, I think it is more than worth it!
