as ITC is one of the good company of india and we should happy that they are concious for environment with positive steps. Carbon and pollusion is a critical for indian livings so this type of big seps and attempt shold be their to protect our land.

This is to appreciate the company's initiatives being made towards resource conservation and optimal and high efficiency utilisation.
However, the company should be aware that it is not uncharted territory and people must recognise that there are thousands of other companies (small/medium/large) that have been doing so (more quietly) and are constantly striving to improve their energy conservation efforts and water reuse/recycle initiatives etc. (including other hotels in India too).
Best wishes to ITC to thus encourage those Industries who have been however low key, so that they too make greater efforts and on larger scales in going 'resource conservation positive' !!
Apart from the statement about increasing carbon by plantaing trees , as they are felled later. I feel all in all ITC is doing a really great Job.
The piece about ITC sonar Banla is most impressive. Hopefully other large indian Corporations and brands follow suit.
Just a Thought : How carbon negative is ONGC. Afterall it removes such a large extent of carbon from the ground which later enters the atmosphere..... ONGC what can u do ???
ITC exemplified itself in CSR(corporate social responsibilities). Other companies should learn from it and share their benefits in the interest of society.
