Where is IPTV now?
by Sashi Kumar on May 09, 2008 04:52 PM  Permalink

As per our then Information Minister's announcement that IPTV will launch in Mumbai and Chennai by 2006. But i believe, it has not yet launched. Whether the project dead due to the cable operator and political party's nest?

is this to be believed. i belong to pune. and the place where i stay/recently shifted, is a up coming residential area called gangadham. the biggest telecomm service provider in the country, bsnl. is yet giving lame excuses for not being able to deliver service in this area, stating that they are not able to lay the required cable or machinery required. in this competitive world, genuine loyal customers like us were forced to be connected thru pvt. service providers tile tata indicomm. i am only trying to utilise this forum as a platform to weep out my grievances against bsnl, to whom we have been loyal for the past so many years.i have already sent several mails to hon. ministers office bringing this burning issue to his notice. we observe a population of more than 10k families getting driffted to pvt service providers.
