Mr Pande please come out and see the real world if you are not aware what is all happening worldwide. Mr Pande when your people from CITU hide themseleves when a person suppose to take care of toilet at airport who is also employ for AAI asks for money that to in dollars to give pessengers entry.This is kind of employees you are talking then I have a suggestion please close down all airport and that is better solutions for it.
I came to india last month with my international friends, and the second we landed, the employees started asking for money to clear our custome even though we didnt have anything. They literally harassed one foreigner to the extent that he had to give them $50 to get rid of them.
None of the employess was wearing uniform, none of them even said hello while stamping our passports..None of them were ready to help the travellers...
And they are talking about making world class airport and services? comeon..giveme a break..!!!
Im surprised that these so called left parties and the striking unions and emplyees were not seen demanding the modernisation, improving the work culture, infrastructure of the major airports with so much of passion and determination. Now when the govt is planning to modernise the airports they realize that their laid back attitude at the work palce would get them laid off or fired and thats what they are striking against. if private companies take up the job they would execute it in the best possible way and these employees wouldn't get to do whatever they like (manmani)at the work place and they are scared of that and thats why they have gone on strike. the left party thinks that its their birth right to oppose every step and every word that the govt tkaes and says irrespective of if the step taken and the words spoken is going to do good or bad for the nation. we should do something about these stupid strike hungry comminists, something like the americans did to the communist party in their country. The communist are against the nation's development and anyone against the nation's dvlpmnt is a traitor and thus should be punished and banished and totally wipe them out.
cant these unions and the left parties ever think in favor of the nation??? all they care about is organizing protests. What they dont realize is the impression people get when they travel to india during this time. we want to expand out tourism industry, and now this happens. Govt shud not agree to the protestors terms and get on with thier work. Its about time the government stamped its authority.Also all the lazing around the employees got to do will not happen now. Knowing they are privatizing airports, they will not be able to get away from anything. Also the firms have agreed to absorb most of the staff, so what is the problem?
Oh yes, the AAI can build great airports !!!. Like the ones in Delhi and Mumbai, truly world class in all aspects that an airport should NOT be. Well, the comrades... its high time that the country stops taking them seriously, notwithstanding their strength in the Lok Sabha. If they wanted to pull down this government, they would have done it long back.
Comrade Pandhe, the question is not about whether public sector companies can build world class airports or not, but whether Indian ones, especially the AAI can do so. Its ridiculous to compare AAI with Singaporean or Malaysian public sector companies. MTNL is a PSU giant, because it was a monopoly once, and now its a good performer because of competition from the likes of the Mittals and the Ambanis. Its high time you understand this comrade, and it has been quite a while since your good friend, Chairman Deng understood this.
Dear Mr Pande, Have you ever visited Singapore. Are you aware of the way the singapore government works. Well you talk about MTNL! Do you know you have to wait for ages to get even a simple fault to get rectified from MTNL or any other public sector government agencies. Are you aware of the fact that any problems queries etc are attended at lightning speed in Singapore. Dear Comrade countries like china and Russia have long forgotten communism. Communism has the knack of doing a job in lengthiest possible time, in the most shabby manner and the net result is that it is of no use to anybody and everybody. What have you ben doing all these years to modernise the airports. Why didnot you take up the cudgels in making a nationwide strike to improve the airports are railways or road conditions. If the airport management is privatised then who will loose the jobs. The goons and lazy bums who are not accountable for their letharginess and who are ably supported by the so called comrades. Mr Pandhe after so many years there is some reprieve in the form of good living standards and a common man is able to travel by AIR and we are able to see that hardworking people can fulfil their dreams.
