See, such are the kind of news that India needs to hear. Instead of watching those stupid Bollywood Movies, it would be better to at least watch news like these.

How they brought water to farms
by Kunuthur Srinivasa Reddy on Dec 26, 2006 04:00 AM  Permalink

Hats off to the wonderful conceptualization of Dr Sharada, Director, CSWCRTI, Dehraudun to quest the thirst of farm lands and ensuring its implementation with people participation cutting across of several constraints. It is the best example to illustrate the potential of scientists of India of what they can accomplish given the opportunity. Let this trend go stopless to transform India in to a glorious abode of active natural resources to drive out hunger from all forms of life.

Inspiring reality
by Ravi M on Dec 26, 2006 03:15 AM  Permalink

This is very inspiring reality. Media should spread this success story to other parts on india. The other important thing is to scrap the government jobs that where responsible for such water management but failed miserably.
