This is fantastic. India is progressing well for more we need a working atmosphere . singl window system and beraucratic hassels should be totally off.Persons making disocopveries should be sponsored and talent used for national and international use. They should be provided opportunities to devlop in a bigger way.
Great. Congratulations to our inventors (yes, they should be called inventors and nothing else)!
But I find it distressing that once again, an American firm cashes in on what India has to offer. Why did it have to be an American "technology marketing firm"? Where the hell have all their Indian counterparts gone?! Are they sleeping?!
There is no doubt that our fellow countrymen have great ideas. The only thing needed is to encourage them to bring the ideas to reality & them show them to potential manufacturers.A CONCEPT library should be set up to which ideas can be invited through letters, e-mails etc. Lots of people have ideas but cannot shape them to reality. The library can divert ideas to practical workshops for conversion to physical trial. The originator of the idea can be suitably rewarded for encouragement.
Pkl. Sunday, 27th August, 2006. Well Prof Anil Guta of IIM has done well to high light the not so easily noticeable possibilities of the undervalued town~people and even of countryside lad's innovations all related to practical devices as the amphibian cycle or vests carrying water in the deserts. If there is a feedback loopin mufussil designers and the cutting edge technologies in metros we can hope to trigger self sustained progressive synergy for quicker achievement of development goals of contemporary India.D.
