One should appreciate that infosys is the one who made world to recognise india as a Software Mill. Anyway so may engineers got high paypacks when compared to doctors in India
If you really want to know the formula behind Infosys suuccess ask its employees about it... the real formula is:
1. late nights for employees... get any employee to work for almost 13-14 hrs a day and save the salary of an additional employee.. 2. Pay as less salary as you can to the employees...
Gone are those days when employee mattered to infosys...now its only money and more money and more money that matters...
Infosys may be best Indian company as statistics may suggest but I would like to shed light on some other aspects. All the great Indian software companies dont even spend a pie of what other software companies abroad spend on research work. These companies have no product of themselves like Norton Antivirus etc. that could be used all over the world. They are doing mostly maintenance job.
I Just wanna ask the question from the peoples who say's the Infy is Grass cutting Company.
I think they should go back and refer to Global Delivery Model which is developed by Infy and which is even accepted and appraised by SEI (Software Engineering Institute)and currently under Patent ( So its time to brush up your knowledge folks rather than defaming Infy)
Infy being a Application Development Provider has done better than any company today in India or I can bet even in the world . Just Look at the values, vision , Corporate Goverance Followed by Infy
I can understand the feeling of the persons who are not able to get thru Infy Selection Process they have valid reason to defame Infy as "Grass Cutting Company"
I must say Infy has the future and others have the Legacy !

You are absolutely right my friend , Narayan Murthy wants to exploit his simplicity to get more media mileage , I think we should appreciate the efforts of Company's like Ranabaxy, Biocon who are working in a highly regulated environment yet at the same time making India proud.
All Indian compnay so called gaints only do Jhaddo-Poocha Kind of work!!! Any Indian IT compnay is having own product?????? Evey Taiwan a small country is number one in chip manufacturing. So why cant India?????

Another example of Indian slave mentality, we demean success by an Indian in India and praise foreigners without even putting proper thought.
Taiwan chip companies are nothing more than sweatshops creating chips for multinationals.
Considering the resources available and investment environment in the country it was best for our people to start with services buisness. Now as we have developed political and industial mindset and have ample financial and human resources, companies like iFlex/Aditi will also rise in software product buisness.
Nothing succeeds like success ; whatever reasons infosys is a tangible mountain in its tue sense particularly in India : Somehow I was under the idea that because of Mr. Nilekeni's sexual controversy in the America he has been relegated behind mr. Gopalkrishnan his lateral colleague in the same co. but now this news is good and I wish him good luck, for social work and recepient of donations and charity I am forwarding my name and self to fulfill and meet all your thinkings and values of humans as percieved and gleaned from the above article / story .THANKS! ! !
