If the big companies such as this are in terested in grooming leaders for the nation and like to join hands in building Bharat, let them start afresh in villages in a small scale. That proves their core capacity.
The utterences against Murthy are sheer nonsesense. It seems people do not have much serious things to do. It seems that people are well fed and clad and have much idle time to spent on such non issues. It is very diificult for a nation to progress if it spends its time in such non productive unwanted and unwarranted exercises. The man, his character, his track recods, his wife wearing a hand woven sari never suggest the image being portrayed by some readers and in some section of the emedia. Sensational journalism, jealousy against a flawless successful individual has become an order of the day. No one achieves anything except some undue attention by that. Murthy's name being floated as next Presidential candidate has added fuel to the fire of anti Murthy tirades. What a shame and senselessness! May God bless us!!
infi was started way back in 1981...(in U.S it was the reign of apple2,microsoft,sun,adobe etc. was not in the picture)..till today the company is almost zero in terms of innovation..thats the reason the company is far behind the companies which started in late 80's. when they bring innovation in their work rather than creating hoax of being the best company
When i read about infy and similar companies.... as some one said - self praise..... i went thru the some what detailed discription of how infy groom their future leaders (the words itself says its political...hahahahahahaa) none company says its future owners...... ok, thereby i read about the detailed personality development program etc... can any one answer 2 question for this---- 1. How many people working in a software industry can stay in the NON-AC (Non air conditioned) environment for more than 3 days....???? 2. Can ever any company give a statistic with the reason of how many people leave there company in every financial year....?????

Given the amount of software services required globally, there is nothing too great about Infosys, there should have been several companies like infosys by now. They got projects that brought them dollars, but with a difference that they sustained the growth of their organization (unlike other organizations which did not focus on the growth implications/sustainance/planning).
Agreed Mr. NM is a role model, but most younger generation even in infosys dont know the meaning of ethics and descipline when put in real situations etc
So what is the bombasting of being Infosian etc about. I think it is just self praise which is false.
As far as the IT guys i think 99% are self centered immatured guys with no knowledge of the world or life outside their work area. They are the most pathetic people. I wish the it companies give their employees training in social work & responsibilities and overall development to result them to become proper human beings first than just know about computers and making they counting money/bank balances and leading selfish lives.

this is true...some one might suggest that Nandan Nilekani should be voted as the Prime minister of India and he will be in a position to transform India's economy to become the No.1 in the world.because of his success history....one should really look whether the growth is because of the individual or the industry...it looks like sailing a boat in the river to the sea.
the success of infosys is synonymous with the economic growth of india,as being told by mr.murthy.if infosys is grooming the future leaders this should be a matter of national intrest coz its very synonimical with finding the future business leaders of our country who will make make the country proud by putting it in no 1 spot in prosperity.
infosys has a history of serving the society to the fullest.if at al we r standing in IT roadmap is certainly being bcz of infosys wich has shrugged in competition to likes of ibm n accenture.
not only the above matter deserves the place in rediff bt it also deserves in all the leading dailies of the nation too.great work done by rediff.com.kudos to them.
