Yes you read it right. I believe reservations make sense but not in the way the govt is doing it today. Reserving seats in IITs or IIMs will generate a lot of negative feelings to students who come in thru reservations. They will not beable to join the mainstream students and are not likely to come out with good colors. What I would like to suggest is the govt should invest in great institutions which should be made 100% reserved. These institutions should have best facilities and faculty. But they should be located in rural areas where they are likely to benefit deserving backward students most,
It's time for annoucement quota for OPEN category people. Or Some days after GOVERNMENT will feel that OPEN category people does not require require JOBS & EDUCTION & will announce 100 % quota in JOBS & Institues.
Such proposal will not only belowgraded the education standard also it is cheating to the maritorious students. So givt should think twice before passing such stupid bill.They should not think only for the vote bank.
