these politicians always try to lure the backward class.. when will they try to lure the upper/forward caste ppl ...... my advice to politicians...remove all the reservations in all institutions and see the surge in votes that u get.
Why do the students who are receiving good merits suffer because of reservation... Education should be given to all in equality & not through caste discrimination.Since there is a stiff competition in todays world all should get equal opportunity. One should not put such kind of reservation which demoralise bright,aspiring students. Just think of a middle class family student who has just missed by a mark for the seat due to reservation and that 49%.....The calibre of an aspiring sudent is not allowed to have a seat because it is reserved for others!!! Is this fair????
why so much fuss about OBC reservations in IITs and IIMs. There is already 22% reservations for SC/STs today in IITs and IIMs. Either there should be reservations to all communities or not at all.
Elite classes deserve this punishment not for the sins of their forefathers but their own -- These are the people who just write comments; make fun of our political system, sit at home on the voting day passing loose comments about how useless voting would be but do nothing about it. Other set of people who are worse than that are: those who accept these political plays as 'fate' and not even raise voice about it and let their kids suffer. Then there is even worse set of people -- who know very well that their younger generations, their country and utlimately the entire mankind that would suffer because of the reservations in the long run -- nevertheseless push for this for their narrow personal gains or may even for the sadistic pleasure of spoiling the future of ones on progeny. All those people deserve the 'great benefits' of the reservation system. Long live India! Long live Democracy!
Hi All, If Politicians implements quota system in every place , even like things which are acedamice from which country can progress, in which merit is required, Then why dont they implement quota system in Elections also, They should implement quota system in Parliament that out of 100% Member of Parliament we should have 49.5 % back ward people, then it make sense , Why politicans want to get some vote and they try to divide the country for their own sake, If Poiliticans want to implement they should first see their own department and try to implement at their department, Why these politicans have not done enough after more then 50 years that so many people r still backward. Why dont they give their seats to back ward . But i say its really shame that they r diving country like this.
Well, their are ways to do the things... its not the thing that u should do it in the way you want.
if they want to have reservation, first this is not good as other persons with high percentage or persons with proper caliber will have to suffer by it, second even if they want, to give reservation, they should take reserved candidates with proper caliber only and not just who is of reserved category... and may not be of that caliber.... If they are unable to get it candidates of proper caliber in reserved caste, to leave the seat empty...
In the Constitution the reservation is only for economically backward.There is no reservation in the name of religion,caste,community,backward class etc. Many States when they were asked to clasiify people by economic standard to award reservation they informed their in ability and requested to Classify the deserving by their Religion and cast.Hence the present system of backward reservation started. It has no constituitioal valdity unless amended even the words and other definitions. I f the present unconstituitional system continues India will soon become a NAXAL COUNTRY
dear sir, It is infact a sorry state of affairs that in this era of globalisation and cut throat competition,the government is planning for reservations at the highest echelons of the bastions of knowledge in our country based on caste and not merit.It is infact a cheap eye wash of the total failure of the state to provide strong development measures at the grassroots levels in terms of education,health,caste inequality, and employment.it also reflects the reason why our glorious nation has been reduced to a chessboard for petty vote politics. i exhort my fellow countrymen to launch an all out campaign against such forces that are trying to divide the nation and set back its progress for personal and vote politics.
I am not from IIT/IIM, so I feel my view are not biased. According to me, the reservations are really a draw back to the society. I am always against it. I have seen good students from Forward caste who dont get seats in top institutes cos of reservations. This should never become the case for IITs & IIMs. Let the person who deserves get the seat fairly. In this day and society, there is no need to give reservations based on community or Urban/rural. High time that govt. considers this and make our country a proper one.
What is the reservation going to do?? deny deserving candidates. Speak to IIT and IIM students and ask them how many of those come thru the quota stay and complete the full course. the numbers will be very little. Why then unnecessarily provide them quota and waste the seats. Let the reservation be based on Economic Crieteria than Social. Another thing is why all these hue and cry only for IIM and IIT, there is reservation for MBBS and BE courses also. Are they low in any scale. Doctors are next to God. Why take chances with the life of People. Let the deserving candidates get admitted and serve for the country
