Mr. Azim Premji's speech reflects the greateness of Apro JRD as well as Mr. Azim Premji. Whereas JRD was a leader of 20th century, Mr. Azim Premji & Mr. narayanmurthy, both admireres of qualities of JRD, are the leaders of 21st century. They have amused the world leaders the Indians are the real gurus. Whereas, Tatas are growing on the strong footings created by JRD, Indian economy is growing with excellent contribution by JRD admireres like Azim & Narayanmurthy. I agree with the philosophy of Mr. Azim Premji about drivers of development of a nation. His critical assessment of five key areas of concern, which are prime necessity for any countrys development are also very true and needs attention on priority. It is a fact that in India we have very high valued philosophies of development and efforts are made to build the nation based on those philosophies. Yet we find many a times these philosophies had not yield the desired result. It is not that there is anything wrong with the philosophies; rather it is in the effort we are making. Probably we are trying in the wrong directions at a wrong time and realize later to amend or sometimes we just could not see it through with proper implementation. Here the question is who are responsible to implement these philosophies, and may be thats why we need visionaries like JRD or Mr. Premji who himself also became an icon to show the path. But they are very few to have at a point. We need to have those people at the helm of affirs who could see the process though till that achieve the objective than mere executives who run the show day to day basis without much focused attention and finally falter. Secondly it is also important to establish the means to achieve the end so that the system can function irrespective of individual incumbent. So the authors and thinkers are requested to search those methodologies than mere suggesting the philosophies.
Premji,s speech on JRD proves that by following the ideals of JRD he himself has become a beacon for others to follow. It also gives an insight into his frame of mind which stills retains its freshness and enthusism to do a lot for the society by following the path of business and enterprise. We are fortunate to have him as one of our brother citizen and inspired to be living along with him.
Respected Sir(Azim Premji) speech was inspiring,for me both JRD & Azim both are icons. Everybody can become a gentlemen,but not all can be a Greatmen. They are Greatperson, ill try to be one of you in future.

I just read the article and azimji's speech. I must say that this is the impressive speech and the comments are also very clear & good. But my dear friends can anyone tell me who will going to start the reforms?
We all say that the system is corrupt but can you please ask yourself about who made this system to be corrupt we are the one who made it work like this.
I must say that Sir JRD is the person who really started doing reforms for growth of our nation.
Let's start the reforms once again and make our beautiful nation a golden place for everyone in this world.
