NRN can not be a politician!
by Sreekanteswaran S on Oct 26, 2005 01:12 PM  Permalink

Let Mr. D Gowda make public the assets he has acquired in all names & be-nami names. Then he will have the right to bark at others.

If D Gowda expects always other Industrials to provide assistance, where is the question of having a Government & Governance? Why should the public pay any taxes? For Gowda's salaries?

Dirty politics.

mr.narayana murthy's resignayion from BIAL
by a.naga bhushana on Oct 25, 2005 05:11 AM  Permalink

having been the prime minister of india by flook for a while,mr.deve gowda is presently playing the roll of a king maker in the state of karnataka.that may be ok as politicians of his kind can not gracefully retire.but certainly he has no business to criticise
an eminent person like mr.narayana murthy.what mr. narayana murthy has contributed to bangalore or to india as a whole is there for all to see and generations to come he will be remembered, while mr.gowda's misdeeds might be recalled.

Why should NRN be upset/angry
by S V Gopal on Oct 24, 2005 09:16 PM  Permalink

I endorse the views of Dr. Ananda Kamat and Mr. Rakesh Arakere (Deccan Herald, October 23, 2005).

While I hold no brief for Deve Gowda or Narayana Murthy, Bangalore is not going to end if Narayana Murthy is not the chairman of BIAL. It is easy to join Bill Gates bandwagon and make billions, but one should remember I have not heard Infosys doing anything with Linux. Reason? Billions of Dollars!! Infosys or any other Indian software giant could have tried out Linux, which is for free, and improved it with safety devices for their clients, and no one would have boasted of billions of Dollars turnover, or grumble over infrastructure in Karnataka.

By the way, has any one ventured beyond Electronics City to see what havoc the new order restricting heavy traffic for four hours a day has created? Let Wipro and Infosys prohibit having cabs parked on the side roads and see how the difference. That is the IT clout for you.

Also, Infosys and other IT majors in Bangalore have spawned a culture of softrogance. The Infosys softrogance has affected me personally. Very much. I can prove it. Fortunately, I still work and earn more than what Infosys pays for a two-year softrogance

Narayan Murthy ( may his tribe increase) is angry
by kb on Oct 24, 2005 07:38 PM  Permalink

I think a man called devegouda is disgrace to the nation and karnataka.

This man calls himself as son of soil "MANNINA MAGA".
who is not talking about the the crime commited against the north karnataka farmers. Damage to crest gates of narayanpura Dam is proof for massive corruption & crime against farmers. Mr. Narayan Murthy(may his tribe increase) is the most Noble man. Devegouda Being ex-minister, cm. pm. and active politician, does not know the contribution of Mr Narayan Murty to the nation, this itself is the most disgarceful for you Mr devegouda.

About the BIAL
by VIKRAMA PUNCHATHAR on Oct 24, 2005 04:40 PM  Permalink

Hi Guys..

May be Deve Gowda was little rude to express his view point on BIAL in front of media, but we have to see the fact before commenting on any issue!.

Hi Guy's I'm an Architect by Profession working for a British company in Dubai, which we have, involve lot of Airport projects in Middle east and Africa. The kind of airport proposed in Bangalore, twice as big projects, we execute with in three to four years.

The point here is, all these 4 year which Narayan murthy was chairman. I've never seen any picture or building skeleton coming-up in the by media or newspaper.

So may be Deve Gowda is right. May be he wants to change the BIAL Board Members

Please don't see as a political view point but may be its true.

Thank u
Regards

by Jogi on Oct 24, 2005 04:03 PM  Permalink

Yes, Gowda is right on a few counts.
The Banagalore Airport project was something where the so calling himself great job maker - Mr. Murthy could have walked his talk - which is every magazine/tv - india this india that yaaawn.

What is there to prove???
Sadly he made no change to the project.which is why he was brought in- not to give interviews on Globality and india being the next usa.Talk about the world being Flat - the roads in Bangalore have not become flat first of all, the only thing Flaat in Bangalore is the beer...
