Very sad for Bangalore Airport
by shoban on Oct 20, 2005 03:30 PM  Permalink

I still remember, in the mid of night Narayana Murthy coming into the lounge of Bangalore internation terminal. We were waiting for the boarding of the flight, he came and saw the facilities available on first hand side. I don't think the Deve gowda in his life time ever done a decent work.

Devegoda
by kuldeep on Oct 20, 2005 03:30 PM  Permalink

Respected Mr. Devegoda,

Please keep India's most respected company and its founder out of your "Cheap" politics. We understand that "you" have been out of power and want to make a comeback but Sir, to gain foothold in rural masses you are blaming their state's capital. What about revenues state govt. collects from these IT companies in taxes. These companies have benefited your state in direct and indirect ways. Well it seems that you are not happy for putting your state global radar. Good, at least now some other states will be benefited by this and some of will be able to go back to our home states.

Regards,

An IT employee

Stupid politicians
by Ayon on Oct 20, 2005 03:23 PM  Permalink

Narayan Murthy has all the right to be angry on HD Devegowda. Pure idiotic politicians like Devgowda have no role to play except make unfounded comments to tarnish hard working and upright individuals.

People of India owe an apology to Mr.Narayan Murthy for putting politicians like this in power. I do hope that N. Murthy will continue doing his good work inspite of comments from people who really dont count.

Sorry State of Affairs
by Prashant Babu on Oct 20, 2005 03:18 PM  Permalink

So, there goes the last chance of the Bangalore Airport being completed anytime in this millenium...
Mr. Narayan Murthy, i guess you did the right thing. The people in power just arent worth the effort you are putting. Maybe our cheap politicians still need to go a million miles before they can even understand your high thinking.
Mr. Deve Gowda, here is a sincere suggestion. Rather than making such irresponsible statements, why dont you retire from, well, whatever you think you are doing?? The people of Karnataka will be more than happy to give you royalty just for not doing anything!
Its a shame that such people still call the shots when they should have been long thrown away from politics.

What has been Deva Gowda's contribution to any portfolia he has handled in his life ? NIL IN CAPITAL LETTRS. He was a disgrace to the nation when he was prime minister and it is shameless to comment on such RARE GEM of a person like Mr. Murthy.

Cogs in the wheel
by Arun on Oct 20, 2005 03:17 PM  Permalink

Dogs bark's at Heaven. People like Devagowda are really cogs in the wheel of development. Just question what he has done so far... He has alleged that IT companies have gobbled lands. Did any one ask what he and his sons have been doing so long other than illegally aquiring lands in and around Bangalore. Has he ever come out clean with respect to disproporationate asset case filed against him. He should first clean his deeds before addressing to Mr.Narayan Murthy. Mr.Murty is cut apart, no body can match is committment to work and assignments.

Murthy is nothing to lose by resingn Chairmanship of BIAL. Only we are at loss, due to deed of Devagowda. It is better late than never - Nip him now. His is a weed.
