Narayana Murthy is angry
by Sameer Khandelwal on Oct 20, 2005 05:09 PM  Permalink

It's paradoxical that a person of Mr. Deve Gowda's standing has made such hasty remarks.

When will politicians stop talking in the air and start delivering results? It's easy to make a scapegoat of a corporate denizen.

Would Mr. Gowda have the courtesy to resign had he been pulled up for inefficiency? I doubt it.

It would be honorable for him to apologize and let the real nation builders do their work.

Afterall, what did Mr. Deve Gowda ever build? Infosys speaks for Mr. Narayana Murthy's credential.

Narayana murthy's Resignation
by Ramakrishna.S on Oct 20, 2005 05:05 PM  Permalink

I pity this country. When the country is forwarding in a fast phase, the economy booming up particularly due to the top IT Ikons like Mr. Narayanamurthy and Mr.Azim Premji these unscrupolous , less knowledged, selfish, leaders will pull back the nation fast to go back to the 19th. century.

Mr. Manmohan Singh should keep these people at a distance who are immetured polticians let what may come .If required Congress should take the help of NDA along with it atleast on the economic reforms.

Down wth DeveGowda
by Arun on Oct 20, 2005 04:52 PM  Permalink

Every one knows how much deve gowda served the state n the country suring his tenure as CM of karnataka n PM of India. If at all karnataka is LAGGING in devep. then its bcoz of this great leader and his sons.

First, he spoiled the B'lore-Mysore Express corridor project n then he tried to ruin Metro project for B'lore n now his third target is Bangalore Airport.

He basically dosent hv the morality to talk abt Mr.Narayanamurthy. Infosys is spending so much on infrastructure n facilities in B'lore n this is an awesome reward for their work.

Down wth Devegowda... Down wth Devegowda

Narayan Murthy v/s H Deve Gowda
by Arnav Inamdar on Oct 20, 2005 04:50 PM  Permalink

It is indeed painful that a person of the stature of an ex PM should make irresponsible remark on the committment and dedication of Narayan Murthy who has put the name of Bangalore & India on International Map in IT Revolution and contributed to the uplifting of the economy.
Mr Deve Gowda's problem is that he has not reconciled to being EX CM & EX PM.Sheer arrogance.May God give him wiser counsel.

Wrong decision
by Prasad Kulkarni on Oct 20, 2005 04:49 PM  Permalink

I think Mr. Murthy has taken a wrong decision by quitting the board.

He should have defended himself and should have answered this corrupt politicians by his acts.

But as his nature he prefers not to make issues of it.

But just because of such corrupt politicians out country will not prosper.

Wake up India...!!!!!!!!

I am ashamed that once upon a time he was our PM..

Mr. Narayana Murthy's contribution to BIAL
by Ramachandran on Oct 20, 2005 04:48 PM  Permalink

I feel Mr. Narayana Murthy would have contributed more than Mr. Deve Gowda ever did in his whole political career.

I think, if the State Government cannot keep Mr. Deve Gowda in check, it needs to resign and let the public have a chance to get a Government which, even if it does not work itself, will atleast allow others to work.

Callousness of Gowda
by Sekhar Sirigiri on Oct 20, 2005 04:40 PM  Permalink

It is really disgusting to hear such remarks from Gowda....more so he being a former PM of our country....Does he need to be reminded that he should not stoop to such levels of indecency.

In spite of his ridiculous remarks...i think all of us are aware of that NRN did a commendable job. If Gowda does not have anything to do.....let him keep quiet....instead of creating a furore by making such remarks.

He has a right to be angry
by Viral Kamdar on Oct 20, 2005 04:39 PM  Permalink

Mr. Narayan Murthy took the initiative to discuss about improvement of infrastructure in Bangalore.
It seems the city is just ignored and is volunterily left to destruction by the prominent ministers of Karnataka.
Mr. Narayan Murthy tried to help people live a better life here for which he is being objected now.
