narayana murthy was angry on Gowde's comments
by t prasad on Oct 30, 2005 11:42 AM  Permalink

I agree with many friends for Mr Murthy resigning. But I also would like to say that it was not the only the best thing. there are many other ways (things) he would have done in this case, which would have excellent impact.
Firstly, Why he should do the present episode (resigning) differentlty?
1.Because he is Mr Murthy. He is a unique leader himself.
2. Such episodes (Gowdes) are great opportunities for leaders to prove them selves. In the history, Great leaders never lost such opportunites . Gandhi is the greatest example. Every instance which he came across uwas sed as a great opportunity.

What was the best alternate for Mr Murthy to do?

1. He should have waited ( taken time) for few days to give a reaction like resignation. No need to give the reaction so fast - that too in just two days!!!!. You resign, but wait and opt for the resignation. This makes people to think. Murhty gets time too. Nothing he looses but he gains.
2 AS a strategy ( With Good intentions) Gowde need to told and asked for his views on his work.
3. Finally he should resign with out any pain and negative feelings. 4. I feel it is great opportunity LOST BY MURTHY TO PROVE HIMSELF - ONE MORE TIME ,

Mr Narayanamurthy

It is a shame that a man who has contributed nothing to the country and living on the tax payers money is speaking about the person who has made the country proud. Mr. Murthy should not budge under any circumstance and take back his resignation, Let the
politicians do what they want to do the country.

"I dont like to comment on Mr. Deve gowda's remark.Mr. Murthry, first make job open to Bangalore graduate rather getting a talents for outside"

The above is what your comment was Mr. Nage.I took some time replying as I was still trying to decipher the English you have used. Now that I have made some sense of what you mean, I understand where you are coming from. You are one of those sad losers who no one wants to recruit because when it was time to study and work on a career, you were too busy elsewhere and now when you see people doing well, you want to whine and cry and go piggy back riding on your origin and where you come from. I am thankful that the likes of you have no place in respectable companies. One big fear though, it is the likes of you that will ultimately find a place in politics and eat away at the nation anyways!! The scary Deve Gowda mirror images!! This is to all of us out there who think alike and respect people like Mr. Murthy. It is only when we start accepting politics as a way of changing the country by being part of it instead of getting intimidated by it that there is any hope for this termite eaten tree of a country.
PS: Nage,hire a translator ;-)
