The Esteem is a clear winner in terms of comfort and you can feel the difference more on Longer drives. It is more fuel efficient and lacks only acceleration compared to Swift but has a much softer feel.

The acceleration of Swift is not more than that of Esteem.

According to Autocar's roadtest, Swift dows 0-100kmph in 12.xx seconds while Esteem does it in 11.43 seconds.

This is because Swift weighs 125kgs more than Esteem.

Esteem runs at 97.14bhp/ton while swifts runs at 87bhp/ton. A whole 10bhp difference.
