its seems that we in india has only people working in states ya london, what abt the hard working people in gulf where each pie thay make they send back to our nation what abt their fares.i shopuld presume now we should stop going to gulf and lets go to europe!!!!will the authorities do some thing regarding this.i know its waste even comment on this

Exactly my thoughts! People tend to forget the labourers and skilled workers who have to spend a substantial portion of their wages for flight charges.
Also, recently, there was this ridiculous statement from the Govt. when it announced that private airlines would be allowed to fly to foreign destinations with the exception of the Gulf sector. The reason given was that the profitability of AI and IA must not be affected since they get their hisghest revenues from that sector!!!
An airline is run for the passengers. They should be getting the benefit of competition and reduced fares. Instead of that, we have a Govt. which has the convoluted thinking that the passengers have to part with their hard-earned money to keep these public sector behemoths afloat at all costs.
Accepted that International Air fares are plummeting , BUT where do the domestic air-fares stand??? Be it off-season or peak is there even a marginal difference?? If you think so travel Srinaga-Delhi- Mumbai & vice versa. Its ridiculous to know that foreign travel is cheaper than Domestic travel. Is any body listening Ministry Of Civil aviation?? Come On!! do something, high time we travel cheap in our own country.
