With state ( Raj.) rank 833 ,can i get electronics at MNIT jaipur?? Is MNIT gud for mech/ electrical ????....or civil at BITS pilani is a better option.........Plzzzz help
sir my name is shravan, my brother(NISCHAL) who wrote his iit exam 2009 and his result was 2900. Just wanted to know in which college he will place and please send me the link through which i can check the colleges according to rankings.
Is it better to take up iit indore or iit rajhasthan where i am getting the field of my choice and which are running from iit bombay and kanpur respectively, or iit kharagpur where the field is not so welcoming.

Hey, first of all congratulations.... As u bags 77th rank ,i think u'll get good branch in good iit. basically it depends on your interest. choosing a branch is important but choosing a institute also.some thing i can say. u'll not get computer science anywhere in pre-established iit's(i can't anything about new iit's). may be u get electrical in iit-roorkee nd iit-guwahati. In bombay, civil, mechanical, also i think u can't get. in IIT-D,nd Kanpur ,same as above. In IIT-madras,kgp i don't have much idea. but i think u'll get there one of civil, mechanical.
In IIT-Roorkee, u'll surely get civil nd mechenical
Chemical u'll get everywhere. these r core branches...try to choose one of these. Personally say....give preference to IIT-B than others. Chemical in IIT-B is far better then mech or civil in IIT-Roorkee nd ghuwahati. As everyone know ...IIT-K is somewhat tough nd it's not easy life there. About iit-kgp don't have much idea...but better then iit-madras or ghuwahati.
I m in IIT-Roorkee. So i'll say ..living facility are best at here out of all. Lastly ....have preferences as for IIT's:- IIT-B>IIT-D>IIT-K or IIT-R>IIT-kgp>IIT-madras brabch:- electrical>mech>chemical>civil>others
Choose best combination...according to ur others interest nd other fectors i.e distance, living facility.
Don't choose new IIT's ....i m sure u'll get in good branch in old's one.
