hi all... i just read the article about how much a fresher in the IT industry earns per month... the usual pay is about 15-16k(ctc) and in hand wld be about 12-13.. infy offers 14k ctc and in hand 10-11... at least tht's wot i was offered along with my batchmates who entered with me... i just sent in this to make sure ppl get the right idea abt the pay offered in the IT industry... there's usually an exodus of graduate engineers from other fields as diverse as metallurgy and civil engg into the IT field in hopes of getting an "easy" job with a "good" pay... my advice to such ppl wld be, stick to your own field as far as possible... thnx...! neetha...
The rediff facts about the top 10 IT employers is not accurate. MBT ( Mahindra British Telecom ) employs around 8000 employes in its different branches, but its name is missing wheras as company like iflex with arounf 4000 employes are there in the list. So before publishing all these facts make sure whether the information is accurate.

It was with some reservations that I read these article. The main one is any acknowledgment of BLE. As you know, a BLE can be changing the entire course of a process while not being detectable until we have been seen too much time passed. If such a thing does make an occurrence, then all previous thoughts should be restarted. It is best then to preconsider all potential BLE, but this is almost impossible to sustain! Thank you.

Yes.I agree with Mr.Jack.A blue chil co. like MBT who is paying good package with total job security have been missing its right place in your list.
The article was really useful to me. I am a Civil Engineer who has recently decided to make the switch to software. I have enrolled for CDAC's Full-time PG Diploma in S/W Technology. Any idea about the prospects this course has in the industry? Some areas of specialisation I am looking at are GUI development and Database Design.
