Getz is a flawed launch, it was the move by Hyundai to make hay while the sun was shining on Santro & Shahrukh. Swift proves once agn wat a shrewd mind rests inside the frail body of Khattar. i've met him & know for sure how street-smart he is.
Getting the value delivered & the price combo right the first time is a quality tht Maruti has demonstrated time & agn, versa notwithstanding.
Wait and watch the sales figures, Getz will be nowhere near Swift. People are not dumb here to go for a particular model, without any reason. There are enough reasons for Getz owners to get disappointed, that is quite obvious !!!!
I think for only problem which stoped me twince to buy this car is THE SPACE INSIDE THE CAR. ITS REALLY VERY LESS, I THINK WganR is more spaces then swift.
in my view u have show all the superior qualities of swift not the getz and u have been miopic in comparision getz with swift. i have been driving getz for past 7 months and have taken to hell lot of palces and believe me i have never encountered any proble with stability and shock absorbtion system at high speed of 150kms. more over swift engine is same as esteem and 2 or 3 bhp increase does not make swift a ferrari. the hell lot of booking ins not because of PRICE ITS BECAUSE OF BRAND NAME, IMAGE OF "MARUTI"..people are booking on the name of Maruti ki car hai. talking about flared wheel arcs please see getz again in my view. the a pillar problem there with honda city also but its not a major concern in getz. let the car roll on the roads and then compare it will be much better. i have driven swift demo car, its like mini cooper. good car for young people who are fun loving and adventerous. price is such it will lead to brand canablization. but still GETZ is getz ans swift is SWIFT u can give 100/100 to getz but cant give 100/100 TO SWIFT.
WHOA, Really a over the board article, the writer's bias is highly visible when it says the Getz has more leg room, driving comfort, but still rates lower than swift. As we all know , Maruti is going to revise the prices soon and they have the habit of serving the old wine in new bottle (Esteem engine in swift), lets wait for the performance to be tested on the roads and then pass the verdict

Its not Business Today..Its Business Standard...don't curse my company for no reason at all...
I dont find anything wrong with this article...swift is indeed a better buy than gets...Ya I do agree that the swift's backseat is a l'il cramped up as compared to the gets...but then if u look at the complete package..swift is miles ahead of the gets...something that the gets has to beat, to even think of giving swift some competition is the pricing...and moreover...y spend so much on a hyundai???
Its a matter of pure personal choice or lust , passion for colours Vs passsion for smooth driving.
While the swift overrides in terms of exciting pricetag and colours , the getz from Hyundai scores over the swift from maruti"s stable over the interiors as well as the silent gear box in Getz.
With the Swift the driving and the AC is very good however the gear box is the only drawback.But at a price tag of 3.87lac on road its surely a good bet.
Rest the choice is yours - Hyundai Vs Maruti-Suzuki.

Why you think its weird ? Just saying its weird does not prove anything. you need to give justification and some good data points to prove what you want to say.
