ambani feud
by sonam bhagat on Jul 22, 2005 01:49 PM  Permalink

it is a great article invoking thought about the now-over ambani war.when it was on though as described in the article,a lot dirty linen was washed in public that brought to the fore the many discrepancies that existed in the so-called 'holier-than-thou' image of the ambani group.they lost a lot of well-stocked up goodwill(as done by their father)in a metter if seven months.investors and shareholders alongwith the common man lost faith in their rags-to-riches idols.everyone needed a probe to be ordered in the group's activities and companies(a few shady ones too).the govt an the SEBI and other authorities in question at that time promised a probe but later on as the dust settled between the two brothers, surprisingly even these authorities shut up.an answer is required to this 'blind-eye' of the authorities in question and the article rightly does so.keep it up.

letter of appreciation

Good presentation. This is the real way to judge the extreamly hyped story of the 21st century corporate and Democratic India. Keep it up and continue in the same way for the future issues which do happen every now and then.
This work should get a bigger place on the home page as the news article. Keep the neutrality from your point of view also. This will do a whole lot of goods for you as well as the country as a whole.
Thanks and regards.

Ambani War : A lost Opportunity ...
by Dutt Sharma on Jul 20, 2005 03:10 PM  Permalink

While, writeups like these may evoke sentimental interests, to accuse the government of inaction, political compulsions in many such cases, often demand, soft pedaling. However, I hope your correspondent reliases, that long term NATIONAL Interests certainly rules priority, over knee jerk reactions and opportunistic governance. Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Honourable PM of this Country, has been the Governor of RBI, an able Economic Reformist, recognised for his ability, internationally, certainly knows his priorities and use his soft spoken diplomacy very well indeed. Peolple like him do not lose opportunities, but end up CREATING ..!!
Following GENUINELY QUALIFIED LEADERS will be a better option than raking untimely controversies.
