It is not appropriate to compare the hopping of jobs to those changing parties. You canot use the argument that party ideologies are so blurring that people change parties. It is solely to cling to power and perks that politicians change parties. They need to be detested by the society if we want clean politics and good governance.
If an odd senior executive makes a shift from one company to another it doesn't change the equation too much for that company....may be a fall in stock price to some extent. But in the political parties which are more or less person dependant tend to create unstability in the government. An unstable political party leads to an unstable governement causing a huge impact to the political balance. As the governement is responsible for the lives of the people the social balance is affected. The two can not be equated
