& remember the majority of our population is in the villages, they should benefit from this. Otherwise, we will fail (in the next 40 yrs) with disastorous consequences (famine, strikes, riots etc)
India is going to take over the world. Wait and see. All you people are going to bow before India. It's democratic, a capitalist society, and it is full of hard working and bright Indian people. Also, Cuz the Indians take all the engineering jobs and engineering is a key for the success of any economy. Engineering is the basics behind making cars or computers or mri's or any technology. And if all the Indians take the engineering jobs, then India is going to take over the world. While America is going to lose its dominance, because all Americans take marketing jobs and fail to use their brains to take engineering jobs. And besides Americans are stupid at math. So, they wouldnt be qualified anyway.
Ok, I hope you realize that it is cheaper to live in India than it is in America. The actual gdp of India should be the number they have times 10 because of currency difference. Ya, so theyre only below the US in GDP not all those other countries(Japan, Germany, UK,France, Canada).
Proud to know that. ....... hey where are the pakistanis gone ? i think they'll top the rankings in terror activity...... suggestions & comments welcome .....
first of all comparing GDP is wrong, considering difference in price of a product and currency values. secondly, it is not correct that larger GDP (or larger economy) means more rich. India will go up in the list in the coming years. but no use... everything is made here and all are consumed hereitself. If we can increase our market share in world trade (exports), nothing like that !!!. We will become rich
Its been a tremendous growth rate that India is witnessing for the past 4-5 years & the growth is irreversible. We should see India progressing towards the next level in a decade provided the governement is stable & continue supporting the liberal policies. India should now concentrate on building the right kind of infrastrcuture & take the necessary growth path to achieve this kind of growth level year by year. Tourism is one more sector which has huge potenial & remains under utilised. If this potential is tapped properly India will get a proper mark in the global map too & put it in the same league as that of the other developed countries like US
