Total waste of space. I wonder what is the editorial board doing? What is the point of printing such useless article? Read it again and you will find no substance.
it is quite easy to predict the following for 2006 and beyond: * over 80 percent of Indians will live in slum-like life style and environs. * pockets of overt hunger and starvation will continue to exist in states like Orissa without anybody paying attention, not even media and human right activists. * degradation of India's land and water resources will reach critical levels making international watchers wonder whether India is driven by a compulsive death wish! tattwaroopa
I had always thought that 2005 will be going very slowly at the beginning of the year. My academic year had just begun and I was extremely terrified of all my teachers and yes of course the examinations. Yearly tortures which turn into nightmares. Summer holidays went by. Oh! the blissful two months and the year passed like that. Now I am waiting for the next year. I am happy that it has all gone so well. But, it was not so for many people. The earthquake and hurricane victims have felt the wrath of nature and sensed the value of time. They have cried every moment losing their loved ones and wishing they were dead. I hope that on reading this, you will also donate something to bring a smile among all these people and enjoy next year.
