Jaya-FM
by Ahamed on Sep 01, 2005 09:56 PM  Permalink

The politicians are talking about losses for the Government. What they are doing now in the parliament? They are wasting the productive hours of the nation and resources of the country. Jayalalitha is not fit to be in any position. But it is the crazy people for the sake of their position talking against FM. Come on politicians just retire for few years and see how our India develops. Do not spoil our mother land. Let it grow at least when it is growing by itself.

Chidambaram: J angle....
by mathihalli G Rao on Aug 31, 2005 10:21 AM  Permalink

People including political leaders should understand one thing, India requires leaders like the present PM and FM. This team can re-name India as DEVELOPED country in another span of 10 years or so if reforms continue in the same spirit/speed.
This Episode of CBDT point, is wasting everybodys time. PC and Mrs PC know rules and procedures more than anybody. They know oppostion lhave an eye on their actions. They want to keep-up the prestige/heritage of thier family and tradition. They will never do anything aginst the convetions and customs.
There are so many leaders, avail all benefits, get the things done all over India using their influence...some time even without winnig a seat, but being in politics.
As PC says, even in the NDA rule, the file appointing the council, was not submitted to FM.
So how he would have g his approval as FM.
As we know, PC is independant.
Some news in the market, that Mr PC amd Mrs PC
argues one case agsint each other....when PC was not FM...
We should high light right things and constructive ideas for developmnet of the country.
Mind-set change is important on these issues also

Wife Career at Husband's Mercy
by Partha sarathy on Aug 31, 2005 07:08 AM  Permalink

Women's right, women reservation bill etc etc are all lip services by the so called leaders of the nation. Nalini is a qualified lawyer and had she not been Chidambaram's wife also, she might have as well got the case. Does the career of the wife depend upon the whims and fancies of the husband? Chidambaram did not do the right thing by stating that had he known he would have prevented his wife Nalini from taking up the case. Champion of women's rights, architects of the Reservation Bill for women, its time Chidambaramji is taught some fundas apart from finance.

chidambaram:The Jaya angle
by Man Mohan Singh Saluja on Aug 31, 2005 06:12 AM  Permalink

It is very sad what is going on in India. Practically everybody is lootin our hard earn money. India has become a countries of 'Enquiries' with definitely no results. In this case it very small amount. Since there is financially good understanding between PM, FM and Montek, FM should be pardoned with a clear warning and he should be asked to pay the Govt. the loss we have suffered in the hands of his wife.

Jaya-Sonia
by A.H. Venkatachalam on Aug 31, 2005 04:54 AM  Permalink

Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, nor hell a fury like a woman scorned - Ny heartfelt sympathies for Chidambaram - It will be interesting to watch how he handles the Sonia-Jaya onslaughts, one indirect and another direct. And in addition, his wife. Communists do not like him. He is not in an envious state right now. In Manmohan Singh, he has a friend in need. A very careful man that he is, it is not easy to believe that Chidambaram was not aware of the fact that his wife engaged by CBDT.

chidambaram: Jaya's revenge
by charles davis on Aug 30, 2005 09:55 PM  Permalink

I understand that Nalini may be his wife. But the whole drama cannot be put on FM. An individual holds the responsibility and the husband of a lady. I am not so clear as how far this department is linked to FM's department. Definitely it is the game of Jaya. For that reason, we not lose an exceptionally good FM.
