Mauli is the worst singer of all. she should have been out of the contest long ago. I think saregamapa is clearly manipulating here. They are buisness men so this contest is just big bucks for them. They retain what sells and dump, what does not. Junaid and Joy are obviously million times better than Mauli, but Mauli can jack up the TRP (thanks to our viewership that wants spice and not music). Any deaf person can make out how much pathetic her singing is.
Also I do not understand this 'phenomena' of votes increasing by few lakhs every week. I cannot understand this monotonic rise, unless ofcourse if it is fabricated. Also these mentors behaviour is cheap and vulgar. They are rather all mentals. Cmon, guys dont stoop so low; show some musical sense. Asking for vote on regional basis is ridiculous at best. You do not want people to vote just because he/she is from a particular region. You want the best person to win. Also there are no technical comments from them; unlike what happened in Sonu's compereing in earlier saregama. If one is objective and honest, I think Mussarat is the best and Raja Amanat and Anik are all great in their genere. Junaid has sung some of the most difficult songs with great ease. Poonam's ease at high pitch and her involvment is amazing. Sumedha has rendered the songs with 'oomph' with amazing sensuousness and grace. She has got the best voice among the females. Initially she lacked involvement but has improved on it.

you are soo right! they are manipulating the the scores and votes big time! Look at what Sumedha has been given on saturday for such a good performence! 7 marks from vishal shekhar were totally unjustified when they marked Mauli 9 for her dreadful rendition of mehboob mere! They do the same with poonam when her performance is not exceptionally good! Gosh, what are they thinking that we are deaf or something! Dear saregamapa, yeah jo public hain yeah sab janti hain yeah jo public hain, aji andar kaya hain aji bahar kaya hain, melein to sab pehchan!

replying to the first message, i agree with everything that u have said, im glad someone shares the same opinion, mussarrat by far is the most talented and exceptional singer, hes a versatile singer, who has every week shown great commitment and adjusts to any song he sings...he has an amazingly gifted voice which should be appreciated...i also would like to point out the fact that his guru Himesh is not very encouraging towards his performances every week, he has something bad to point out whereas he always encourages anik, who clearly doesnt have as good voice quality and performance than mussarat....i think we should be giving him as many votes as possible so we can see the contestant with the most unique and magical voice win the compettition beacuse he deserves it...guys dont waste ur vote to people in the contest who can clearly not sing ie mauli...seriously who is giving that girl so many votes..!!!

Yeah, Mauli! Please stop singing (oops you are already not singing, so we should say please stop your out of tune bakwaz! if you wish to stay on that stage be the host or the back dancers but do not try to sing! Have mercy girl on us!
I think Mauli is extremely versatile and has this unmatched energy. Her personality is vivacious and is gives her substance as a playback singer. She's quite talented, as is everyone on the show. I have to disagree with the post below that describes her as selling "sex on tv", that couldn't be further from the truth, she's got a sultry voice and that sets her apart from the rest. If you aren't a fan, don't vote for her, but its quite unfair to cheapen her abilities as a singer by demeaning her like that. Mauli, I'm an avid fan and I wish you all the best! Represent the States :)

you think she is extreamely versatile, were you listening when she sang chura liya, idhar chali, tal se tal and yeah jo desh mera. those were her non-iteam number songs she attempted to sing but se practically raped and then murdered those songs from the start till the end brutally. Ever since then has only been singing iteam numbers but those too with lot of her besura improvisation!Yes you are right, she has shown her versatility but at sabotaging compositions of all different genres. she can make kachra of every genre songs regardless how easy they are! she is just simply unable to sing in sur. she is treated differently on that stage for some obvious reason which we all are aware of including you! So stop being denial!

OMG she is just making fool out of herself every week with her terrible rendition! Desai saab Zee's political purpose behind Mauli's unfair stay has become the open secret now in the indian community. Well the way she has been singing it is quite clear that she has no future in the playback industry but the way she has become so unpopular with her besura singing and stubborness to get the cup at any cost, I doubt she would have any future (stable and secure)at all!

desai bhai, when did you actually got the news coz we heard it very recently and my mom and nani are already quite furious!they are just one step away from bash up Shakira promoter zee!
Mauli showed that she can sing only one song - not songs from one genre - but only one song from the movie Guru. She has sung so bad in some of th episodes that it is a miracle that she is still on the show. I am from Houston TX and the reason she is still getting votes is because the local desi radio shows are begging Houstonians to vote for Mauli, not because she is a good singer but because she is from Houston and I think it has worked so far. Grow up guys, enough of jhatkas, let us get to some serious singing and that is not MAuli's forte. So stop this madness and let us take Mauli out of the show.

If Mauli was ever called best in a singing compition then I would not have any doubts about the inefficiency of their listening abilities! The way the judges are going gaga over her outrageoulsly poor singing skills, I have very little faith left on their judgements and the show in general. The most annoying person in the show is bappida who goes on chanting shakira shakira everytime while ignoring the other member of his gharana completely who is 100x better then Ms. Indian shakira! If mauli was singing in sur and good perhaps we would console ourselves some how but what the heck is that! She butchered membobo mere from the top to the bottom of the song despite of the fact she was singing her typical item number she couldn%u2019t do any justice to that song!Yet bappida goes on saying Mauli tumne aaj bahut hi achcha gaya hein, tumko champion banna hain. Pathetic man!
