About Possessiveness and jealousy
by subha N on May 26, 2008 04:27 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

it's true that possessiveness and jealousy arise b/w the relationships...either with friends or with partner or a lover...this is caused due to our expectation and affection increases with him/her...so we can make ourself in the safer side if we maintain the relationship without expectation i.e less expectation...give more(love) but don't expect more from others...

Yes, why not be positive about India
by PV KRISHNAN on May 26, 2008 04:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

During my visit to US in 2001, two incidences remain unerased from mind, two reports in leading dailies. One was about a teenage mother who wanted to go out to a party. She did not find a suitable baby sitter to tender her young one. She just threw the baby into a canal and went to dance. The second one was equally gruesome. A woman went to meet her friend with her baby. The baby was crying and the friends were disturbed a lot. To teach the baby a lesson and to be hasslefree, the mother went to her car and strapped the baby into the kid seat, shut the car and continued her chatting. It was about 35 degrees temperature outside. By the time the mother returned after 3-4 hours, the baby was dead, strapped to her seat in the pressure cooker like car.

What do you make out of this? Let us not allow stray incidences to make our mindset negative. Let us talk positive, make people's mind positive...

Mr. Krishnan, the incidence u quote is heart rending. Indians will not (and should never) sink to this level. Mother is next to God here. Hell with such americans or where evr they r from. God will never forgive such ladies.

Increase intolerance among youth
by gyanendra sinha on May 26, 2008 04:19 PM  Permalink

This is the result of the pseudo globalization. when we try to immitate that we have progressed, we basicaly become less tolerance to something that is not meant for us. Again the illusion of impossible is nothing comes into mind. Every body thinks every thing is possible. But some thing are meant for not all, this we need to understand.
Hope if we can teach grace among youth the way we are teaching party harder theory.
