I, a Pune man (41 years), complain: A divorcee army major lady (40 years) at Ranikhet, telephoned me 3-5 hours every night (also in daytime at me office) for more than 1 1/2 (one and a half) months (September-October 2006) begging me to marry her immediately, promising me marriage; talked of love, romance, sex, oral sex; sent me love letters, birthday cards, gifts; called me to her military quarters in end-October 2006; used me as a toy for three days and two nights even in the presence of her small son and maidservant; and then wantonly rejected me. I intend to sue her for mental agony, filling me with love and deceiving me. -- Nigel Shaughnessy, Poona

Its all about love, true love. Here the trust play a major role. Just imagine, how much Mathew would have loved her, that leads to take such extreme step. She shoudnt have done to him. There is no fault of him, he has been trigered to commit such crime by her. She should not have entertained Grover. Now Mathews admirable lifestyle has been ruined. why she has to cheat Mathew, who truly in love with her? I am sure now she would have understood, what she meant for him. From my point of view, the moment Mathew saw him naked on the bed, Mathew would have returned back thinking of his fate and, thanking God to know about her real face. He shouldn't have ruined his life just because of her character.
Success to indian marriages can be mostly attributed to women who were strongly loyal and were handling relations very neatly. But, these days, with blind imitation of the west, women are loosing their value system and indian characteristic which is making everything so fragile..
Society has changed and relationships have become very fragile. Ego , jealousy, possessiveness , hatred , uncontrolled violence dominates todays relations.
There is too much aggression on the mind which results in such incidents

There is nothing new in our society. This type of incidents have happened in the past and will be happening. There is no hard and fast ruel to stop this.
We can only bring awareness in society about such.

ramankutty,
Where does "RSS/VHP/BJP AND SHIV SENA" come in the picture? The murderer and his girl-friend were both devout "Christians" Is this what is taught in the Chruches??? You are always very eager to ridicule our native culture. Why are hiding your neo-convert status? Are you ashamed for the Christians still treat you as "dalit" ????
It is clear that she spent the night with the deceased. She is the traitor.. poor Neeraj had to pay for it. A Naval officer, who is one of the thousands protecting our shores has no control over his actions !!! WOW, this shows the state of affairs with recruitment of officers. Most men would have a fling if a girl comes forward. Neeraj would have done the same. We only know what the media potrays, Media potrays what sells.... Only the two of them know what the truth is. But the truth also is that a young man has been killed. And here rediff starts a Discussion board about possessive jealous partners. Of course you have to be possessive to what is close to your heart. Jealousy is different from being possessive. I too am being an idiot and contributing to this discussion by this post... what an Irony.

dear Mr Akash. I fully share your views with each word. I too feel very bad the media, including rediff priority, giving unsual coverages, where many election promises are kept in abeyance which are vital to improvement including the areas you have mentioned. Hence I am not contributing any personal view.I am a second idiot?thqt is all> if you define yourselves as first
