I have been living in the USA for the past five years in North Dakota known as peace garden state for its low population and low crime rates. Recently I moved to a busy metropolitan city like Houston and found dramatic change in lifestyle and security issues. Anything can happen anywhere no matter what you do. Especially after Katrina hurricane too many home less people roaming the streets and causing public issue. There has been significant increase in car break ins and house break ins over the past five years. Part of the reason is the capitalist government and rich getting richer while poor people dont even have free medical facility like we have in India. In many ways Indias social system is far better compared to USA. Families live together and save money and the added support from elders in the family is very good for school age children. In the USA children are mostly put into day care centers and baby sitters who are low income group and source of crimes and child abuse. It is getting worse day by day. So some NRI kids getting killed in a busy city where there are 100s of homicides on a everyday basis is pure socioeconomic fact and police records are very accurate. Indian parents need to consider these facts before sending their kids to USA for studies and need to find safer places to live.
If North Indian should remain in North india then ask these greate people that why Indian should go to America? Can they say its right because they are overlapping on American Education so americans are shooting them ?
It is very unfortunate to have this manmohan as a prime minister of India. It seems he cannot sleep only when a muslim family is hurt not when a hindu boy dies. He will also protest if anything happens to his religion people.
Media creates a hype even if 1 NRI dies in USA. What about those hindreds of foreigners who are murdered avery year or raped every year..Or i shud rather say what abt the INDIANS living in INDIA who are murdered or raped by US INDIANS here??????How do u know that those indians were innocent and that they did not have any relation to the local gangs in US????

Getting raped is a social problem. The victims of these rapes are not only the foreigners, the Indian women are also facing the burnt in the capital from years. Dont mix this issue with NRI's being killed in the US. This thinking is a problem with Indians who are still in the colonial mindset. Please comeout from this and strongly protest the killings of our Indians anywhere in the world.
Can U recollect how PM was sleepless when Dr Haneef was arrested in Australia. PM summoned Australian High command to bail him out. On the contrary 4 murders of PHd students in US have not been noticed by Sonia Pm or our secular leaders and BJP is also silent . Had it been A MINORITY , oursECULAR Govt tv channels would have been flashing 'breaking news' thru the day and competing with one another to claim who broke the news first etc... Deve Gowda offered him a position the Ambedkar Medical College making him a National hero as if he had sacrificed fo the nation.. One does not understand the impulsive nature of our media and the Government
You really can't stop this nonsence killings in this world. When some one does this act to US , it it is terrorism. When they do it is murder. !. When PAKis kill Indians, bush support Mush. When Iraq stand up against US, they kill Sadam. This is the world politics. The best remedy would be stop going to US for higher edn or emplyment. Our home is the best place for us. Others home , we are always guests. Our Govt should bring in mass change in education system where in one can pursue the education in which he/she is interested. Remove control of govt from education system. Today most educatiuonal institutions are run by govt or its goons (polititians). Why should we limit the number of engineering seats? Medical seats?. All these should be removed and let the Govt conduct the examination on merit basis. Stop all these quota business.
If this is implemented, then we need not sedn our children to US for higher studies. Let the govt wake up above the politics and give ample opportunities to the citizens for pursuing their education. This is the only way to stop this migration of intelligence.

Well said. But these politicians are all concerned about only the votes. They does the acts against the longterm interest of the country. See for example the fuel subsidy, it is enabling the country to waste the fuel because they are getting in subsidy. If it costs more then the private vehichles would go away. The money wasting on fuel subsidy should be used in raising masscomunication system then the problem would have been solved. Instead the problem persists and money is being wasted. That money would have used more judiciously on building permanent infrastructure around the country. See what AB Vajpayee done. In his time he has hardly given any fuel subsidy. He has taken many hard decisions and build a Golden quadrilateral project and that is being the growth driver for many villages around the route. One project cant' be said of the current goverment which is looking to increase the subsidy bill continously for the sake of general elections due. Please save country from these irresponsible people! We should look at the qualification of the people representing us before voting him. Even when appointing a servant we look at his past acts and judge him. But in case of these politicians we forget the past acts of Curruption. There should be proper accountability in the system for every rupee spent to the people.

Adi Amin did it in Uganda and all know what happened to him. Modi should first built up his oil reserve before doing all this, surely the oil rich Arab nations are not going to sit silent
When all religions start to teach that racism as bad and tolerance as a main quality like Hinduism at its core, all these murders of Indians and blacks in America will decrease if not stop.
