I agree with you Javedbhai.....the driving license can be cancleed for a 5 year period and the accident information should be logged into the database of the crime branch and the traffic police......one more accident after that should lead to permanent cancellation of license.........and the RTO can be intimated by transferring all data and information from police records...
A car in which 5 youngsters were sitting was careening wildly on the road...so the police suspected that the youngsters were under influence of alcohol....so a police van started tailing them in the Sundar Nagar area of Malad..
Seeing the police van taling them, the youngsters panicked and tried to eascape by increasing speed and overtaking...in the process, they crashed into a group of autos parked and mowed down 15 people..
3 out of those 5 youngsters esacped after the crash but 2 were nabbed by the crowd and royally thrashed.....after that they were handed over to the police and a search of the car revealed a bottle of liquor...
THAT THEN IS THE REAL STORY....DON'T STUPIDLY START BLAMING THE BPO AND IT CULTURE ETC.....THESE WERE ENG. STUDENTS....
Why to punish such people? Such guys are the reason bars n pubs survive. If drink and drive is stopped who will go to bars late nite? India wll loose business..
If u take ur gal late nite to pub can u expect her to travel back home in rickshaw or taxi?
This is sheer hypocricy, why punish the kid, punish the bar owners who serve alcohol to under age or ban pubs n bars thats the only solution..
Due to sharp rise in oil prices last week.. people are so upset & depressed that they indulge in drinking & driving.... they curse themselves for buying vehicles n not affording the oil hike prices.. Govt should seriously think over this. this is the real reason behind all the mishaps..
How about going for 'Capital Punishment'for drunken drivers ?? Is that too 'harsh' ?? Well then at least jail them for 14 years ?? That is also harsh ????? Errrr .... then 'public dhulai' ???? is that okay as a punishment for drunken drivers ?

We need the establishment to be corruptionfree first and then enfore the law. Rich and powerful will get away with mony , like salman khan. Other will suffer. Untill then public dhulai is the only way.

Public dhulai happened big time.....one of them had a swollen eye and smashed lip...they were soundly thrashed by people who were not even connected with the incident....
