I am also being charged by the Airtel for activating the Yahoo messenger without my consent. Each month I have to call their service center to get my money refund on prepaid service. This month it is still not refunded despite repeated calls. TRAI The regulatory authority should take initiative to penalise such service providers for looting the customers.
It's like, they are all out there to compete to prove 'We are smarter thieves than You'. Just after Vodafone took over from Hutch, my bill amount has doubled. I am yet to understand how they manage this kind of manipulation. I think one should avoid post paid connections, in pre paids, there is not much they can do.

I wish I received as BEST service as you do. Sorry to say IDEA is no exception. First had put songs without my knowledge and funniest part is I dont even know which language that song belongs to... Any way, the kind IDEA service provider cancelled the tune.... I was still happy with services... But wait friend... kahani ya khatham nahi hoove.... Few months later I saw mobile bill... to my surprice... they had doubled the call charges without informing... When I contacted IDEA customer care, they did not even care to say sorry for not informing the customer... I felt like cheated. Anyway I had settled the claim and stopped thier services. Shame and unethical....
The mobile service providers are very careless in their attitudes - When ever I try calling the BSNL call centre for enquiry, it will result in hearing to ads and tariff details, and when you thought you were connected to the enquiry the phone is disconnected discreetly - I feel the top brass dont bother to check such things and we got to take such things with a pinch of salt.
