your account balance too will not be reduced as you normally will not be able to call and you will sleep with peace of mind as no call will be received due to network proble..... Switch if any one still think BSNL is best....
Looks like even I am not alone. But in my case, it is Vodafone which did it to me several times. I have complained many times for refund, but all in vain.

GOod... Bolo India Bolo...i feel nice atleast, at some point we are all at the same level. No reservations...no north-indias Vs sotuh indian.. Commendable coincident... Anyways kindly sue them dude..in a customer court..
It looks like I am not alone! Airtel has been doing this for quite a while now. I have 2 connections of Airtel and on both connections, somehow Hello tunes got activated automatically. And when I call the Customer Care, I get an answer that I only have send an SMS for the activation. Now you really need lot of time to fight with these people because its really difficult to prove that we haven't send such an sms, they say they have it in their records. Weird!!!!
The Guy is absolutely correct... the same incident happened to me, one day i got an sms that your caller tune had been activated. When i called to customer care, they told me that the msg sent to u by mistake and nothing will be charged but later in the bill the amount has been deducted and that bakwaas tune is still getting played on my no.
