it was good in olden times when guru had alll the time in the world to sit with the shishya an listen to them . Unlike now when they are only worried to meet their both ends MEET. where do they have the patience in this stressed out jindagi . so they vent on the poor students who canot REPLY BACK(BAD MANNERS).
It's been close to nine years since I met Divine Pramila Hemrajani, based in Uttar pradesh. This period has been of continuous learning to think, act and love as Krishna, Christ, Guru nanak, Kabeer and so many enlightened souls. These days it is rare to find a Guru who accepts no favour from any disciple, treats him equally but spends His own energy and time to make a disciple as perfect as Guru oneself is.

Even Guru don't seek any favors, Shisya have the obligation and duty to offer Guru-dakshina. Gurus also needs food to eat, house to live, cloths to wear... If Shisyas only want selfless guidance from Guru and no dakshina, then it is worst selfishness of shisyas.

Whom to blame, we the people to blame. We handed over a great nation to an illiterate Italian woman (a 20 years naturalised citizen) to rule and plunder. We reached to such low that the word Bharat (our nation's name, since ancient times) is communal, India is secular; Sanskrit is communal, but English is secular and list goes on. We are bullied by day and night and we fall into traps. We have come out from that traps and rediscover our heritage and culture.
We should be atleast in line with our Traditional Celebrations to keep our generations updated with our Culture and Customs, which only pave a way for healthier younger generation.

It is not teachers day dewar, today is guru poornima. There is lot of difference between a 'teacher' and a 'Guru'. First know the difference and then make comments. English does not give the correct meaning of Guru, that's why they included word 'Guru' to their dictionary!
Sea of change since I left school. A teacher/guru plays a pivot role for the youngsters. I recall with admiration and awe what I learnt from Sri. NK as he was called in National College, Trichy. Honey was flowing from the lips of Sri. Sethuraman and we used to sit in a trance when he taught Shakespear. Chemistry by Sri. ST, whoops who would forget those golden days. We need committed gurus and it is the cry of the day. Passion for excellence, I built when I was in National College, Trichy. Hope guru of such calibre exists even today. Narayanan CSS.
There were many gurus who taught me good things. But I could recollect few...just as I think through. During my Primary schooling, I wondered on seeing my Correspondent who was around 70 . He used to say that he did yoga regularly. I have seen him doing some difficult yoga posses just like that. Now I realize how difficult they are. During my High school studies, I admired on a Physics teacher. I will call him an intellect. He will just open the Chapter. Then he will flip the book on the table and just start narrating things as if it's a English story. He clarified doubts so easily, that even a kid will understand why/how it works. He will talk fluently on any subject..be it atomic physics, mechanics, electronics/electrical.
