tell her that if she marry others , the ovious comparism will take place between u and her husband and ultimately u will be the guy to help her and to be sympathize. i strongly advice ur girl freind to marry u if u had been best freind , to save 4 lives u too shud be married otherwise comparison after marriage will spoil the life.

Hi, Its better to marry your best friend. Me too have a best friend and when i told her first abt marrying her, she refused. then, i explained her about how both of us life will be if we marry and also told her about my real inner feelings and love for her. then she agreed. y not u try this? jus sit n talk to her from your heart. that wil do wonders ..
Best friend should remain always aq best friend and not life partner.Best friend has a curiosity about body of the opposite sex and after the marriage the curiosity remains no more and interst weans.The conflict starts and they unhappily live ever together

i think if opposite sex have become best freind then there is no choice except to marry! why? because if he or she marriage other , after marriage in every matter the ovious comparism with the best freind will take place in mind and freinds will share their feeling each other, unknowingly/ avoiding husband's/wife's feeling and ultimately it may lead to unhappy married life or divorce.

I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH HIS COMMENT. One thing I would like to tell is; Best Friends (of two opposie sex) is totally a different spice. It will be without bias of age, religion, caste or relationships. When each one get married, then the thing comes into question is how the spouce of each friend consider the best friend terminology. Yes if wife sencelessly comments about husbands best friend and accuse him of illicit relationship then it leads to further complications, vice versa the husaband of Best Friends suspects his friends relationship with his wife. If both gets broad minded spouce then there is no question of any confusion or misunderstanding. So Idle brain is devils workship which portrayed in many Hindi serials and every bodys mind is corrupted. Otherwise the Friendship is sacret and no one can give any ISO code to this. It is beyond anyones thinking. Best Friendship Lives for ever.

The fact that you are good friends need not mean that even marriage would be a success.Friendship is based more on emotional feelings than being practical but in case of marriage along with emotional bondage practical way of thinking is also important
Parents do the right choice based on character and family background for their daughter or son. But it will be better if u get married to a known person wherein ur comfort level will be high. All ur likes and dislikes in known to the person;you can accomodate easily to ur life-partner's lifestyle. Rgrds Uma.N
