certainly money is needed for basic needs and comforts.but beyond a point money does not bring u happiness. further happiness is a relative term having different meaning to different persons and at different age of persons . for instance a young man runs after money for getting his comforts fulfilled and be happy. but an old man looks for care and support and not money for his happiness even if he has enough money. more over health is more imptt than wealth as all know. so money may be means to happiness but money perse is not happiness.
Let us know there are 86400 seconds in a day. These can not be carried forward. No overdraft available against these seconds. One has to say to himself that it is his right to be happy every second. Work sincerely, upgrade the knowledge it gives the happiness. Money yes required for maintaining yourself. But money solely can not make you happy. Because it has no limit.
Hapiness is a state of mind and also the definition of your happiness matters. If money is your definition then you are happy....if not you wont be happy with all the money in the world.
Certainly in richer economies, the percentage of people who are happy can be higher, as they do not have to worry about the basic necessities for human existance! However greed for anything is innate to any living thing.... for which Homo Sapians..stand apart. Therefore richness cannot guarantee happiness. Just drool over
A thing of beuty is a joy for ever. One cannot say what gives happiness and what not. Money is definitely required for the needs but welath is not necessary to lead a comfortable happy life. One may not be able to get a girl of his liking with money but mey get some one else. Money may not cure diseases but it may help in obtaining treatment. Money may not help the children to get you what you want but may help in putting them what ethey want. The list will be endless. P.S.R.SWAMI
