Totally dumb of the author to compare the price of 1 L of Petrol with 1 L of Dettol Antiseptic or Old Spice or Kores Whiteout !! What is more important is the level of consumption of these items. While someone might consume 1 L of Petrol in a day, its highly unlikely that he'll consume more than 100 ml of Dettol in an entire year. Or a 15 ml Kores whiteout in a month. (Considering that the author is pea brained, he might be using more) So what sense does it make to compare 1 L of Petrol that costs Rs 53, that I might use on a daily basis with a 100 ml Old Spice that costs Rs 175 that I use once a month. The significance of Petrol price as a benchmark is that it has a ripple effect on the other stuff that we use (Petrol being input/fuel to various other consummables) Such comparisons are totally weird and misleading ! No wonder the author did not mention his name.
Yes water is going to be costlier day by day and it is predicted the next world war is going to be on the issue of water. only 1% of water resource available is potable. INDIA HAS NATIONAL GRID FOR MILK, PETROL GAS ELECTRICTY AND ONLY WATER WHICH SHOULD BE ON NATIONAL GRID IS NOT THERE. GOVERNMENT IS ANTI HUMAN RIGHT IN THE SENSE IS NOT PROVIDING DRINKING WATER TO ITS CITIZENS ACROSS THE COUNTRY
obviously author is some fool who hasn't done his research. water used to be costlier than cola in european countries since quite a long back. if the author is trying to make a point that inflation has increased, what a lame title to give. Dude it doesn't happen only in india it happens evrywhere. better get that..
This article, obviously targets only the rich. The author must be filthy rich and must be very proud at these fabricated discovery and he loves coffee/ water in Five-Star Hotels. Thanks to all these guys Indian "poor" always remain Poor.

what is there not to understand.. it simply says price of liquids..are rising.. he just added a bit of humour...which u didnt get..
The article author's personally generated fluids maybe lot cheaper.....he might want to compare them vis-a-vis petrol next time. What a sick joke this article is...at the expense of consumer miseries.
THis is incorrecct.... water is more expensive than wine in France & other European countries too.. but it is sad that with so much water being drained into the sea from our mighty rivers.. not enough effort is made to keep them clean & potable!!
Yes the crisis will come wthin 5 yeras .Thwe solution 1. emediately work on joining all the rivers through channeling ,the idea mooted some 50 years ago by one of the noted scientist Rao . Again recently the idia was mooted by non other than our beloved ex PM Atal Behari Bajpai 2. Rain water harvesting .It just cost below 1 lakh Rs for a large society for continuos potable water .Minimum maintenance ,low cost 3. Regulatery authority for water management in all states abboral@gmail.com
