Entertaining!
by on Nov 05, 2007 03:24 PM  Permalink

Nice one..quite enjoyed reading through the humor and the satire in the post. I just cant understand what is wrong with half the people posting comments. Are you people jealous you cant write something 1/4th as funny as this or are you people just jealous? If you can't appreciate humor and satire, you people should just rot in your own rotten shitty world. Sidin you rock dude! ..and dont you let these jealous jobless rediff commenters to eye your fantastic sense of humor. Once again, good article!

Wonderful article..stupid comments...
by on Nov 01, 2007 02:24 PM  Permalink

Are people posting just for the heck of it...or is rediff fabricating these messages just to gather hits.....What is there to criticise...you dont eat curd and say..."hey man this is not spicy...."....

A satirical piece will be like this....and what has being an MBA to do this....looks like this guy who wrote that has some vengefulness on MBAs or something...seems to be venting it out this way....enjoy the humor dude.....Think about the solution if you can....Cant expect the author to od everything ....:)

Saving our youth! One t-shirt at a time!

Hmm! Do we expect this from an elite MBA grad? Do they learn in IIM's how to frame solutions or how to frame same problem in different way so it looks new every time? I can%u2019t believe they don%u2019t have the solution, I think they don%u2019t have the guts to come forward and do something! So they keep scribbling around from behind, same thing every time!

The thing is - that is not the intend of the column. Cant even in my wildest imagination can I imagine a humour article focussing on solutions of a social evil than focussing on teh evil itself.. So let the criticism be constructive.

Ok! whatever may be the intent (constructive/destructive), forgive me b'coz i can't digest the idea that it comes from an MBA grad who belongs to one of the most elite institution in the world. The place, where world hopes that tomorrow's entrepreneurs will be created, is not able to produce anything more than a satirical writer? Or perhaps there is something else wrong somewhere else? Because same could well have been done by the person who studied literature or journalism by his/her heart. Perhaps we are talking about right people falling at the wrong places or vice versa?

well sir, its more like following your heart and doing what you want to do. i mean is there a rule that "MBAs from the most elite institution in the country should not write a humour article in rediff"? I believe this guy has chucked a corporate job to take up writing full time..

I agree with you sir! totally! follow the heart! and there is no rule that an elite MBA grad cannot write satirical (not humor) articles in rediff. what makes me confused is that, is it only after doing an MBA that a person comes to know about what his heart says? or is it that without doing an MBA a person cannot do or know what his heart says? and had this article been written by 'Sidin Vadukut' (NOT an IIM-A grad) would it have appeared on rediff and read by all of us? when the cream of the milk tastes bitter (like satire) that means the milk has become sour.

we are talking about the same problem sir! but we are looking at it from different directions.

I fail to understand the reasoning behind your arguments. I also fail to understand what "being an MBA" has to do with this. Either I am too dumb or you are too intelligent.. Anyways im refraining from posting any further lest Mr Vadukut decides to write an article on this exchange of words :)

LOL..Sidin Vadukut you rock. Absolutely. I find shades of Bertie Wooster in the copy. But much better. Those who don't like your funnies, must be incorrigible Anglophiles. I heard one chap saying "Angrez chaley gaye, humko chode gaye." Ha Ha Ha. My stomach is still hurting.

Degradation in quality
by Gaurav Lohiya on Oct 30, 2007 09:20 PM  Permalink

Hi Sidin,
Your first few articles were humorous, but now the quality is degrading.
Do not try to be sarcastic with motive. I would recommend you to follow the same approach as you did in your one of the first blogs as the one which u had on your name...
Or else, we can find such crap anywhere else, and do not need rediff for it.

Rediff is deviating it's track
by ravi landu on Oct 30, 2007 06:20 PM  Permalink

This article is in no way funny or entertaining in any other way. Anyways, as far as I know, Rediff always had useful articles. This is a useless article which simply eats away precious time. There are many other subjects which Rediff can work on, which would be useful to the youth. Hopefully, we don't see such useless articles here onwards.
