According to me Here should be no reservation for any Cast government should provide free education for each and every one at every level of education from primary class to higher education.
At least one member of a family must have a right to have an employment equal to minimum wages i.e. around Rs.3000/- p.m.It is shame that after 60 years of independence, peoples Govt. could not provide this, they are busy to increase the salary of the employees who are in organised sector. It is inhuman/unethical/insulting to promote employees on the basis of quota as well as to provide employment to the children of the employees who have been given this chance. This has created an imbalance, with the people living in really backward area. Country has not asked any sacrifice from the quota people, such as, adopting one child concept, uplift educationally at least one of his co-brother etc.,etc., Why all this should be born by the common tax payers for the whole life.
Reservation on the basis of caste/religion is NOT justifiable. There should not be any reservation for education, job and anywhere. If government wants to help they can help financially to poor people irrespective of caste and religion for education only. Why government not understand that poor people is not only in SC/ST but also in upper cast also.
Can anybody know? What is the success ratio of reservation till now? And what is the deadline set, when it is implemented?
Earlier British divide country on the basis of religion and now politician try to divide community on the basis of CASTE.
Since independance India as a country is providing reservation of 27% to SC and ST classes and inspite of that what is the status? All political parties are supporting reservation since it is vote bank for power. I feel that reservation if it cannot be removed due to constituion etc at least make it applicable to really needy people who are living below poverty line and not on caste system. Today more than 50% in Govt jobs ( ITO,Commissioners,Professors in Govt colleges) are from SC/ST and their next generations also get the benefit of lower marks and prefernce in jobs. Instead of that reservation should be on income basis for all castes without any bar which will include banaias, Brahmins etc and by that methos there will be justice in removing poverty.
Gujjars are OBCs in Rajasthan. They want to be included in STs. Meenas do not want to Gujjars to be included in STs. Gujjars began a violent stir. Violence spread outside Rajasthan. Meenas are responding with violence. Gujjars and Meenas have become enemies.
BJP leaders should not have promised ST status to Gujjars. The events are a lesson to politicians who make promises they do not intend to keep or can not keep.
Inclusion of Jats in OBCs affected Gujjars. Splitting the OBC seats between Gujjars and Jats will infuriate Jats.
In Punjab, Sikhs had roamed the streets with swords in their hands. No action was taken against them. This emboldened the Gujjars.
People have no right to block highways and remove railways tracks. Rajasthan has BJP Government. UPA Government is at the Centre. Law and order is a state subject. Rajasthan Government should act tough. Wherever necessary it should seek Centre%u2019s assistance. Both should join together in enforcing law and order. Those who are blocking highways should be removed. Those who removed railway tracks must be arrested. UP, Haryana and Delhi also must act tough with violent agitators.
Reservations for SCs, STs, OBCs, EBCs and other groups should be abolished. There should be no new reservations, including for those who are poor. Reservations for poor will result in corruption and fake certificates. All political parties must come together and move fast. If necessary, India should have a new
I have a 'maali' working in my house for the past 5 years and he belongs to the so called 'upper caste'. The poor man manages to earn about 2500 rupees by doing that work and he cannot impart education to his children for the simple reason that he cannot afford it. Since he is from the upper caste, the govt. believes that his forefathers had enjoyed their lives and hence now it is time for him to pay back the goodies enjoyed by his forefathers and therefore he and his family must suffer. This inspite of the fact that no one knows whether his forefathers were actually well to do or not.
Now take the case of our railway minister Laloo Prasad Yadav or Ram Vilas Paswan or any other so called messiah of the downtrodden. Ofcourse their children need reservation, because their forefathers,it seems,as per our most knowledgebal politicians, had sufferred at the hands of the upper caste people about 500 years ago. Hence, it is justified that my maali, even though he can barely make both ends meet, has to atone for the kind of life his forefathers had enjoyed 500 years ago; and Laloo Yadav's family deserves special treatment everywhere because they belong to that strata of the community whose forefathers had been wronged 500 years ago;though it is a different matter that he may have enough money to buy a whole city. This is Mother India's fate. Mera Bharat (ka Politician) Mahaan
Its not that simple as ant and grasshopper story. Here so called ant has all the resources avaialbe to work and save for bad days for itself and next ten generations. where as grasshopper is not allowed to work and earn sufficient because all the means of earning are owned and hijecked by ants. So God came to the rescue of grashopper and provided him with the opportunity to work and prove themselves. You will be surprised to know that we had lower caste president, primeminister, lots of ministers, scientists, doctors, engineers you just name and we have it. It is just begining the lower class will over come like the story of Rabit and Tortoise. where rabit thought that he can sleep but dont know that slow but steady tortoise is one with wome he is competing.

Dear Sharmaji, Thank you for your reply and please pardon me if i had heart you. I too believe in co-existance. In family if we have a weak chap we will help and see that he will do his best. This is the only thing your fellow lower class aspect from upper class. I am really happy to have interacted with someone like you who is very open minded. I have faced situations where I am discriminated on the basis of my caste from my childhood eventhough my parents managed house in so called upper caste locality. This has helped me in deciding firmly to prove myself. Ofcourse one should not generalise from own experience. In nutshell hats off to you. you r future India. I request please wait for few more years. The lower class will compete amogst themselves and this reservation will become null and nill. The gap between open admission and reserve one is already reducing.

Just ask a few questions to yourself and answe honestly: Do you have as your family doctor someone who has come through quota? Would you fly in a plane piloted by someone through quota? Would you have your house built by an architect who has come through quota? and so on......... Neither would our politicians, who claim to be the mesiahs of the downtrodden. Ask yourself and you will have the answer to all your misgivings regarding quota. My dear friend, the very foundation is on a weak ground when you say that quota is to be based on caste.Imagine Mayawati's family needs quota but a rickshaw puller from the so called upper caste dosent need quota because he is already enjoying life by virtue of being in the upper caste. Oh what a sham!!!

Dear Bhattacharyaji, Quality of output of researved category pepole is no way inferior to upper caste ones. This is my honest answer to you as once they get admission in educational institute they have to prove and clear exams at par with others. Here what they are achieving is opportunity to get education. They learn and deliver to society. If no one prefer services of reserved ones then why do any one worry about reservation. It will not help reserved people to fetch any income from it. But the situation is otherway round. Our chief justice is from reserved category and u see the kind of judgements we are getting. We had president from reserved category and performed his duties without any shortcoming. So please remove this illusion that services are of inferior quality. If some one(reserved) changes his surname, and serve you then u will not think of quality. How many times you have checked the caste of pilot. recently i travelled, and the suname of the pilot resembles to sc in my region. We landed in time, safely and without even normal jerks whlile landing / taking off.
Still cast base reservation system is required? Look! What gujjars/meenas are doing for the name of reservation. Gujjars are OBC wants to be as ST, Meenas are thinking if Gujjars will come our proportion of benefit in reservation will effect, All are thinking way Jats are enjoying reservation facility despite they are consider richer side. Reservation is slow poison for India. One day all reserve categories will fight for more benefit and those who are not in reservation will fight for reservation. How politician will handle this situation in future? God knows.
but why the hell no one speaks of abolishing the caste system altogether! its so disgusting that people still are discriminated in some or the other way in this modern world. and look there! we indians boast of oldest and best civilisations of the planet. How mean of us
